    Winch HELP!!

How often do you use it? Some people can have a winch for 4 years and never use it.

    Winch HELP!!

Generally you shoot for 1-1/2 times your weight. I run an 8,000 pound winch, and have for 13 years. I use it a lot (well over 100 times) and it has never let me down. If you often play in super deep, gooey mud, that is the only reason I would recommend a bigger winch. Otherwise, if you...

Feeler- F&R JKUR axles 4:10 for sale

I have a good friend who just bought a 2007 rubicon and wasted no time ordering new axles. Just curious what we can get for the factory rubicon axles in good working condition. He has not decided to sell them yet, they might end up his going to another friend, but I wanted to see what interest...

    Coilovers or ori's ?

I am truly asking this out of curiosity, because I was considering them for my jeep... Where are you finding this 5,000 pounds each? The most I could find on ori's site was 1900 each.

    Jeep Photo Challenge

Fair enough. Forgive me for assuming what seemed blatantly obvious in a picture you posted. Maybe instead of me having to ask for the whole story, you could just Post that up to begin with and save a step. Btw- you're lucky it didn't fall on your buddies jeep. As for the second...

    Coilovers or ori's ?

I didn't realize the article I had read was from 2006. I guess they must have gotten a LOT stronger!

    Jeep Photo Challenge

How about a very broken Dana 60 axle shaft in the middle of the Rubicon? Oh yeah, it also blew up the hub. Good thing I had spares of each! New challenge- your jeep the day you bought it, and how it looks now

    Jeep Photo Challenge

This will have to be good enough to get this thread started again. Two stuck rigs stuck together from the tension in their strap. And don't worry, the Tj pulled them right out. New challenge- your jeep in an action shot; i want to see flying sand, mud, or water etc.. Here is an example-

Sell me your fully built EVO Jeep

You could maybe get a wrap for it? I fell in love with the wrap on sas4bt's jku at a suds and grub recently.

    JKX Tillamook Round 2!

Oregon requires an "ohv permit". You just need to bring your registration into almost any motorcycle shop near brownscamp, and it costs $10. Also last 2 years! Totally worth it!

    Coilovers or ori's ?

Just a few pics I found when I was looking into them. As far as blowing a shock out on the trail and being screwed- If you still ran a bump stop, you could drive home on the bump stop. I just kinda like how simple they are, and also how clean they look. Currently I think the main thing...

    Newbie from PNW "Oregon" Hey"

I can't do tomorrow- I'm in Newport for the weekend across from rogue brewery. As for the trip in March- you better start a thread. Give it a cool name too... Like "JKX tillamook adventure repeat" or something to get attention. I'm game for any weekend In March I believe.

    Help me.

I think it will only cause vibration. Probably not the binding you are experiencing. Here is a good (better than Lee's) picture of how it's supposed to be.

    Jeep parents?

My son was less than a year old and loves it. Not sure we did it that young with my daughter, but hey, she wasn't the second kid. Currently they are 1 and 4 and both love it. Only recommendation is earplugs/ muffs. Both of my kiddos wear shooting muffs and will basically fall asleep in...

PACIFIC NORTHWEST: The 2014 JK-Experience [4 Part Series]

Good job on the video!! I wish you guys had more time in tillamook. There is so much to offer there. Good job on the waterfall- looks like you guys caught it when it was dryish. Normally there is a huge puddle at the bottom that makes it ridiculous.

Are these fenders CA street legal?

Yeah! And if you're lazy and leave them in, this will happen.... The steel piece used to be straight, and the rubber piece used be attached!

What was done to your rig this week?

I did same thing. Got mine at a local junkyard. Not one wire had to be cut. Just twist the bulb and harness out of the old housing, and into the new!

    16.5" wheels on a 2010 JK rubicon

If you just want extra wide- thy make a 14.5 wide swamper irok. I will say though- I love swampers... I've run a couple different sets. They are awesome- but they are a pretty soft compound that does not get much for tread life.. I bet you would get at least 2, probably 3 times the...

    Steering Stabalizer

^X2. More often than not, aftermarket stabilizers just mask the symptoms of greater problems. Best to stick with stock.
