    Cobra 29 tuning help needed!

One never ground the antenna like that. Take one of the bolts out of the mounting bracket then slide the ground wire on it. Then bolt it back in. What type of coax is that? It looks very thin and maybe just the picture but also looks white? You want a a RG-58au cable. Also keep your cable...

    The Winch Thread

I agree. I will just say it must be nice to have never found yourself in a bad situation when your by yourself. I am well aware of how to use every single piece of equipment I own. And I have likely had to set up more z drags then most of the people here on this forum. But like it or not I...

Yep. 9 out of 10 times that 8k winch will likely be more than enough. It's that possible 1 time that can make say you wishes you had the bigger winch lol Sent from my SM-N920V using WAYALIFE mobile app

    The Winch Thread

If he was out west I would agree 100% with the statements, but like me he is in the south east. One thing we get a lot of getter is mud really thick mud slur of the time which is why I started 2x. You get stuck in mud that can at times be the consistency of wet clay the amount of resistance...

Not all of them. If I remember the 76 to 81 cj7 were narrow track from the factory. May have been an option fir a wide track, but not sure. In 82 was when it was standard fir the wide track Sent from my SM-N920V using WAYALIFE mobile app

Just to make sure no one misunderstood me. The only thing I got from them was the shackles and shackle hangers wich I did put on both my jeeps. Which is why I recommended them from rocky road. I personally wouldn't do a soa from well anyone ever. There are a lot of things manufactures could...

Cheek out rocky road. That was where I got my hangers and shackles from. They are well made, and i never broke one of theirs. The down side to them is they take their sweet ass time getting things to you. Sent from my SM-N920V using WAYALIFE mobile app

Honestly it will ultimately depend on what you plan to do with it. Both of those are Chinese made. Personally if it were me I would go with bds for the lift springs. Don't get their socks though. As for the spring over also keep in mind that like anything it can be very subjective. Idk how...

    77 cj-7

You are correct the yj spins will move the axles 1 inch further out. And doing the spring over is supposedly the same as a 4 inch lift. The I had forgotten the axles would move since I hadn't looked at doing this in good while now. The spring over does give lift, but I don't ever recommend...

I have heard some say it is a very good ride with the conversion and some say it's not. First thing I would do is get rid of that lift kit, and change it out with an OME lift kit. I know rocky road carrier their lifts for the cj models as well as a cj to yj spring conversion kit. That's who...

Trying to figure out if the weight of my bumpers and winch will help compress the evo

OK so as of now I have the brawler light front bumper from poison spyder weighs about 74 lbs. The warn winch I have weighs about 64 lbs. My next purchase is going to be the poison spyder rock brawler II bumper with tire carrier that weighs in around 136 lbs. Wanting to get 3 inches of lift but...

    Question about front track bar.

What would be the best option for a front track bar? After much debating on how to lift my jeep I have decided between two kits. Kit 1 the evo 3 inch enforcer and kit 2 rk 2.5 inch. The enforcer is considerably cheaper, oddly enough than the rk kit even after adding the cost of a new front...
