Disclaimer, I like working on my own stuff and I would do this as a vacation. Drive it, if it breaks, fix it. Think of it as a learning experience. Most of the bolts should be SAE, bring a set of tools and give yourself some extra time. If nothing breaks hit a trail or two on the way.

I had a SOA on my 85 CJ-7 with stock springs, it was not the softest ride, but I was in my early 20's then so.... If I remember correctly the YJ springs are a little wider up front, switching to them would be a little bit of fab work. I know some YJ guys who are putting XJ springs on the rear...

If it is just a suspension lift, most stuff would be easy. Most likely things: Springs Shackles Driveshafts Shocks Axle U bolts if blocks are involved Brake lines Less likely: Axle perches (if they were altered for pinion correction, or switched to a spring over) Remove whatever t-case...

No place local sells the BRCC stuff. I did find a little coffee shop near my place, I switch between these two every bag or two:

My friends TJ has a York in place of his AC compressor and it is attached to a small tank, admittedly he runs an airock suspension so he needs it. He used to run an impact off of it all the time, both on the trail and in the garage.

Damn, now I want some Chinese food.
