Maybe the starter is binding on the flywheel? Are you sure that the clutch is fully disengaged so the starter is not trying to move the whole jeep? Is the battery in good shape? I recall that this vintage jeep has a Ford-style relay near the front right fender. Is it in good shape?

It seems that most dealers kind of suck, and others are outright terrible. It is good to find an excellent mechanic who creates records which are useful later.

Unless you need to work in a remote location, plug in tools are still a viable option for many purposes. Especially for things like saws and sanders. The common trend is to put a battery on everything, but my DeWalt saw has a cord, and it works great. Even if you are in a remote location...

I was just trying to clarify what is seen as an overwhelming challenge for you. With three batteries, and two chargers, most people should be good to go for a vendor platform. Certainly, batteries can be expensive so it is cheaper to stick with one platform. But some tools are really expensive...

You really only need to buy enough batteries so you can have sufficient spares for each brand. For some people that might only be 3 batteries, or even 2. Much of it seems to be psychological.

I would allow the snake to live and relocate it a bit if necessary. For every one you see there may be 100 more that you don't. The small ones are perhaps more dangerous since they are less easy to see, and more likely to strike. Teach the dog about snakes. In Arizona, we relocate scorpions...

They are not going to give you 400 Mbps downloads from other places. The speed test sites are well known and so they give speed tests priority to promote false speed expectations. It must be nice to be always connected while in the wilderness. It is as if you never left home at all! 😄
