Yes, intermittently some functions did not work. For instance, the HVAC and heated seats would not turn on. Then after the Jeep sat for a while, everything would be fine.

Our old 2018 JL had the same issue with the buttons blinking on and off. Turned out the switch module was defective. To correct the issue, the dealer replaced it under the factory warranty.

Definitely crank position sensor. Had the same issue on my 2015 with no CEL or code. Replaced the sensor and no issues since. The nice thing is it's super easy to replace. One thing you should do is spray a little wd40 on the connector before disconnecting it. This will help prevent breaking...
