I have a stupid question but I noticed on my 98 TJ and now my 08 JK both have plug in cords coming from what I can only assume is the engine block. I know diesels come with block heaters to help them start when it's cold but I'm not sure why a gas V6 wrangler would have one? Can anyone explain...

Just arrived at my new house in Colorado Springs! Excited to check the area out in town and way excited to find some trails! Anyone local who knows some good beginner trails to get me back on the 4x4 horse it would be awesome to meet up and hit some of them.

I've only owned manual jeeps and have had no problem offroading. Some of my buddies swear by there auto trans wranglers because they don't need to worry about the clutch. I am just wondering what are everyone's opinions on this matter and what do you have in your jeep?

Just drove from my house to the shop and passed by and waved to 5 wranglers.... I only got one wave back. It sucks to see the jeep culture being invaded by non jeepers who buy them to look cool. I dont know, maybe it's just me.
