Question for those that travel long highway miles to get to the wheeling location

This is probably more directed to those with standard hubs, and not those with free wheeling hubs. I'm curious to know if anyone removes their front tailshaft when travelling long highway miles to get to their wheeling spots, and then refits the tailshaft for the four wheel driving section of...

    Side Airbags

Side airbags are standard equipment now on Jeeps in Australia, we don't get the choice. As has been said, getting seat covers to suit the seat mounted airbags is very limited. There are a few suppliers here, but not many. I ended up getting a set of airbag compatible seat covers which are...

Waterproofing a jk. (Breather hose relocation)

I grabbed some correct size hose and a couple of inline filters to extend the breathers on my diffs. I routed the rear hose up into the cavity behind the tail light. And the front diff breather up to the top of the firewall.

Daytime Run lights and Superchips FlashCal

I have been using a Superchips FlashCal to adjust various settings on my 2013 JKUR with great results. Today however I tried returning the settings back to stock, and find that it has left the vehicle setup so that the headlights come on when in gear and the handbrake is released (daytime...

    Down Under JKUR (AKA "Bundy")

Fitted a set of Poison Spyder Brawler Rockers a few weeks back. These things are very well made and fitted up perfectly. They arrived unpainted. So I had them sandblasted and painted, and then fitted them up at home. Drilling the first holes was a bit of a worry, but it all went well.

    D ring receiver hitch question

I'm sure the single position hitch receiver would be fine for most, but if you can get the twin position one for a similar price and with the same rating, it would be well worth getting.

    Australian Wayalife Jeeps.

Let's see 'em. All the Australian Wayalife Jeeps that is. I know there's plenty on here, but don't think I've seen a thread with them all in one spot.

    Frame Mounted Rocker Knockers

Anyone running the Poison Spyder frame mounted sliders, and are you happy with them? I'm trying to decide which sliders to get and have narrowed down my options to these or the EVO Rock Sliders. I've done plenty of searches and haven't come up with any reviews from those who have them fitted...

    Winch help..

Interesting information about the 8274 not being suitable for synthetic line. I've never heard this before but was always keen to eventually get one of these hi-mount Warns. Maybe not now! I'll stick with my 30 year old M8000 instead.

    Torque settings for tailshaft/dirveshaft install

I damaged the rear tailshaft on my JK out wheeling a week or so ago, and have since ordered a new rear driveshaft, and new front drive shaft. My JK is a 2013 Unlimited Rubicon with an automatic gearbox. My question is, is there set (or factory) torque settings for the nut on the front and rear...

Sway Bar Mount problem after lift

I've recently fitted a 4 1/2" suspension lift to my jeep, which included swaybar relocations brackets on the front, as well as new swaybar links (8 1/2" eye to eye) to suit. This is how the sway bar arms sit on flat ground. I'm now having trouble with the swaybar mounting bracket bending...

    Winch trouble

Just thinking about this a bit more, the solenoid controls on the 9.5 ti probably won't have a fuse or breaker fitted.

    Winch trouble

I believe there should be a fuse or circuit breaker on the positive lead to the solenoid control circuit (don't get this confused with the main positive cable leading to the solenoid which feeds the winch motor). Do you have a multiple meter or test light to check for power?

    Winch trouble

I'd be checking for power on the control side of the solenoids. Is there a fuse or circuit breaker for this control side (should be)?

Can you hear the winch solenoids clicking when you try and use the controller?

    ARB Fridge Issue

Did you check the voltage drop when the compressor is cutting in to run, as this is the highest power draw period for the fridge. One more question. Does the fridge have this problem with the vehicle motor running, or just when it's turned off?

    Warn winch help

I can't see why not. My problem with doing this is that I couldn't guarantee either of them are still working. If you are still keen I can send through some photos and you can make a decision off them. Send a PM if still interested. The offer is still there, they are free if you want them...

    Warn winch help

Would you believe I've just been given another Warn M8000, which is also missing a few bits, but it'll get the same treatment as the other, and will soon be looking good. I also replaced the bulky (4 x solenoid) Warn solenoid pack on my winch with an Albright solenoid (DC88-499PL), which are...
