    Armor fenders

I never wanted to drill holes in my Jeep. After sliding into some trees I found this Evo Armor used. It was cheaper than body work. After installing the Evo Armor and armor, I am definitely an Evo fan. Also their customer service is outstanding. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

Evo corner and aftermarket tire carrier help!

I just installed the same a couple weeks ago. I removed the DV8 carrier I had for the Evo carrier. I didn’t have any problems with holes from the DV8 interfering with the EVO corners. I still need to get the correct bolts to mount the tire mounts to the corners. I really like the look and...

    Driveshafts

What is the difference between a manual and automatic rear drive shaft? I snatched up a rear JE Reel 1310 for 200$ new the other day but it’s for an automatic JK. I am assuming the trans housing are different lengths. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

Best EVO tire carrier write up

I’m installing these skins now. Did the front by myself, won’t do that again. Just have to get some shorter screws, the ones I got from Grainger are too long in some spots. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

    Evo Armor install

I have a older set of armor with the integrated fenders I’m installing. Does anyone know what grip length nutserts should be used? I have some .260 but they would pull straight. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

    Parking brake retaining spring

Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a spring at the end of the parking brake cable where it hooks to the lever that goes into the rear brake assembly? I vaguely remember removing them when I did the axle swap, but now my brakes are dragging. I have looked at a couple other Jeeps and...

    Post your old iron

I picked up this 68 or 69 the other day for 750$. It has a 350 and body is in decent shape, just needs some paint. I am going to take it to the frame to fix a few issues. Hope to have it running in a couple months. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

Running 37s on a stock dana 30 axle

I recently switched to 37's, not on a D30. I found front and rear Rubi D44 for 2k with lockers and 4.88. I had the sleeved, gussets, new ball joints, and a complete overhaul on bearings and seals. I thought that would be enough. Now I'm looking at bigger brakes, hydro assist steering, and a...

    Rubicon locker help

I just swapped Rubi axles under my sport. I haven't wired up the lockers yet, I was planning on running them not hooked up until I get an sPod. Now the lockers are engaged, confirmed by jacking the Jeep up and spinning tires. Does the actuator need power to extend and disengage the locker...

    Towing camping trailers

I tow a 2400# Flagstaff Mac 228D pop-up with a 2016 JKU Sport and 3.21 gears. It will get it down the road, up hills SUCKS, and don't try to start on a steep incline. Try to find a camper with electric brakes to help stop, mine has them and I can still tell its back there when braking.

    Rough country lift kits

I have a RC 2.5 coil with 2.2 RC shocks, paid about 400$ because I was in the same boat as you budget wise. I have run it for about a year with no issues. Rough and soft ride is subjective, I have rode in other Jeeps with different lifts and there isn't much difference to me. I was able to...

    Clutch burning in reverse

I have a 2016 JKU and pull a jet ski trailer with a kayak on it. When backing it up the clutch gets very hot and smells like its burning up. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

    Deciding on what lift?

33's will fit w/o a lift, however mine were rubbing when I would turn hard and back up. I went with a RC 2.5 coil lift and love it. Easy to install and rides good. With and without lift on 285/70r17 MT Baja ATZ P3 with MT Classic III wheels.

Rough Country 2.5 lift install review

Let me start by saying I know that are "Better" lifts, but for my purpose this one fits the requirement. I installed a 2.5" Rough Country with 2.2 shocks yesterday. I'm happy with the ride, it's a little rougher but it's a jeep not a Cadillac. The install only took about 4 hours, for the...
