    Sunnyside's Gladiator build begins...

Gave up on tires from Yokohama.... just got told it might be another 6 weeks... ( I ordered in April) went with Nitto ridge grapplers... I have to say they were down my list a couple of places... but they were in stock. I just have never had a nitto tire before... and to be honest most of my...

    Sunnyside's Gladiator build begins...

I sold the 2007 JK that I built over 12 years. I bought it for 17,000 used with 8500 miles on it and sold it for 17,500 with 172,000 miles on it. I had about 11 grand into extras on it... but I bought many parts used, and built and modified parts to make it all work. It was still running great...

    Which EVO lift?

I am still waiting on rims and tires.... 5 weeks now. I'm not putting the lift on until they come, because it will kill me to drive around on the small tires with that much lift! I'm a little jealous... it really turned out nice. As far as the lift goes... drop brackets really make for a...

    Which EVO lift?

I can't give you a review yet... but I bought the 2.5 overlander kit and and added fox shocks (for 3.5 inch lift). Then I added aftermarket track bars. I have not installed it yet... but the cost for everything was around 1400... I also have the daystar 3/4 inch spacer. The EVO lift sounds like...

Unique Things About The Jeep Gladiator

I like that it is still new enough...even almost two years old... that people still say "I didn't know Jeep started making trucks again". The thing is unique in itself. Top off always gets lots of looks!

What lift to keep it simple?

An option that is cheap.... is spacer lifts. Several of them out there. If he has a sport and does no trimming he will need something to run 35's without rubbing. 33's will fit without much on a sport....but will rub when flexed without a small spacer. 1.5 inch front, 3/4 inch rear... clears...

VIDEO : RUGGED RIDGE AmFib SNORKEL Install - Jeep JL Wrangler / JT Gladiator Truck

I have the rugged ridge snorkel on my Jk… I love it for 2 reasons... I can hit puddles fast without worry when they surprise me, and in high dust driving it seems like the higher air intake helps the filter to not get so much dust! Ok maybe there is a third... when little kids come ask me at...

    Homemade skid plates.

I finihed out the skids with a Synergy Cross-member skid... I then fabricated a transmission guard to the front of it... I hacked the stock transfer skid and attached it to the Synergy skid... and it has all held up well.

    Homemade skid plates.

This is the one I made on a 2007 Jk... I figure it's better than stock. 1/4 inch thick, I heated it and hammered it into shape... made a bracket for each side that runs up to the block. It has very little side protection... all focused on the bottom and just a slight roll on the edges. It was...
