    Sunnyside's Gladiator build begins...

I added the Apex steering boost kit, all new fluid. It really does well with 37's.... not sure what it would do with 40's... but it significantly adds to the steering control in contested situations- lol. I am running at about 1750- you can boost to 2000- stock is 1200? If you do your labor...

OK... A short video of a Montana Jeep trail!

Yes... and admitfully this was all coming downhill with gravity on our side. Going up does seem to make more noise. Montana doesn't have a Fordyce Creek trail... at least not as a natural trail. We do have parks and private places to push your Jeeps on man made stuff. Probably the one thing that...

OK... A short video of a Montana Jeep trail!

It has a couple of deep mud holes, and about 6 miles of rocks like this... beautiful sub-alpine lakes at the top!

OK... A short video of a Montana Jeep trail!

Not a lot... but there are several that I would say are a 6 or 7 rated trail. We have a lot of 3-5 rated trails... and 1000's of miles of gravel and dirt roads. If a trail is rated higher than that it is from danger- being on the edge of a cliff and that sort of thing. Most of the hardest trails...

OK... A short video of a Montana Jeep trail!

Ok... this is a short video, no soundtrack after the intro. Just trail sounds... the joy of listening to two Jeep Gladiators on one of Montana's hardest natural trails. (This is a non-maintained forest service road- no man made stuff like an offroad park). The video has no narration, just clips...

    Sunnyside's Gladiator build begins...

Oh... the first press I rented from Oreiley's- it had a stress fracture (I just thought it was paint or something). Pressed one ball joint out- and on the second ball joint the press snapped off inside the clamp! It just started to move the ball joint down. In the picture its offset because I...

    Sunnyside's Gladiator build begins...

I also had some spare time earlier this winter... I love my topper so much that I replaced both sides will a single sheet of HDPE (it was chopped up and moved around over the last few years to get it just right. Now that I'm totally settled on it- I bought one full sheet had it water cut, and...

    Sunnyside's Gladiator build begins...

75,000 miles.... decided to get to work on a few things. Reid knuckles, rebuilt RCV's , new brakes, since I had it apart-new hubs and new synergy ball joints. I had one steer smart joint on the tie rod go bad... swaped it out too. That took me about 8.5 hours. I'm slow. But everything is...

    Flush tails!!!

I got a set last year at Christmas.... they are still going fine. But a year isn't that long. But I didn't have the led light package or sensors or anything... the other thing I did was when installing I put a blob of silicone around the back of the connections where the wires come out... Just...

    clunk clunk; now something binding

What do you mean by "it looks like the front wheel will bust off"? Like axle is turning but brake is seized- tire twisting but wheel not moving? Oris it that the axle is not turning and diff is jammed up? If the fronts are off the ground do they spin freely? If you leave your door open while...

Guys with 37's, what's your average MPG?

Magruder corridor, highland city, avalanch gultch, radersburg, and a couple unnamed trails. The corridor roads accounted for about 55 of the total miles in low- mostly for downhill speed control on a ten mile section and a 3o mile section, and then the top of the trail was all snow-packed drifts...

Jeep gladiator JT 2021 clunk on deceleration near stop

Lower control arm bolts will pop or clunk when stopping... they have a 190 foot lb rating, and if they don't get really tight when installed, they will loosen up and start poping and clunking.
