    Arizona Trail this Saturday 10/22?

Looking to run a trail on Saturday and was wondering if anyone wanted to join. Don't like going out by myself and am interested in meeting some new people. Open to suggestions for the trail. Would like to meet around 9am. I'm not running rock sliders yet so not too difficult. :bummed: Thanks!

What was done to your rig this week?

Installed a couple of Wayalife decals. Now I got serious off-road cred. 😉

    Cool Jeeps you've parked by

Saw this on the road the other day. First one I've seen on the road.

Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

Myself and a couple of friends ran the Telegraph Canyon Trail yesterday. This trail starts near Superior, AZ and ends up closer to Florence, AZ. This trail is one of my favorites for the moderately challenging terrain and spectacular views. Mother nature has taken its toll on the trail this...

    The CALAMITY of Jane

Great progress! I look forward to continuing to follow the restoration. That blue with the Renegade decals is gonna look killer. I've been looking at sliders for my LJ. I haven't decided yet but really like the look of those. Thanks for sharing the progress! I hope to see more!

FLORENCE JUNCTION : Arizona Fun Run in the Sun

This is a great area and it's not too far from my place either. I'll have to try this hike some time. One of my favorite trails in this area is Telegraph Canyon Road which meets up with Mineral Mountain Rd and Box Canyon. Not terribly difficult but beautiful scenery and still fun. Doing these...

Installing the Rock Krawler lift necessitated removing the transmission skid plate. The lift causes the front drive shaft to hit it. I wasn't comfortable running without the skid so on advice from the offroad shop I purchased a Skid Row skid plate (3/16" plate) which protects the transmission...

    Detroit locker in front axle

    Detroit locker in front axle

Interesting. I know improvements have been made with the Detroit lockers throughout the years but I don't know if that would affect this functionality. I hope someone else can chime in. Thanks!

    Detroit locker in front axle

That's a good point. I didn't consider some off-road vehicles have locking hubs. More specifically, we were discussing our Jeeps which do not have locking hubs so the driveshafts/diffs/axles spin with the wheels when in 2WD. Thanks!

    Detroit locker in front axle

If a Detroit locker was installed in a front axle, does it remain unlocked when in 2wd? Had this debate with some buddies the other night and none of us were completely sure. Thanks

    AZMikeD's LJ Build Thread

Installed the Rock Krawler sway bar straps that came with my Rock Krawler lift kit. The shop that installed the lift kit deals a ton with Rock Krawler and that's their lift of choice. However, he thought these new straps were kind of cheesy. He recommended disconnecting only one side and zip...

    Wheel locks

What do you guys recommend for wheel locks? Although I'm mainly concerned about the spare, I figure a set of 5 might not be a bad idea. Thanks!

    AZMikeD's LJ Build Thread

Finally got my Rock Krawler 3.5" lift installed! I was able to get the new 'Max Travel' updated kit with progressive rate springs and updated control arms. I also added a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks. The ride is noticeably improved on the road and it seems to soak up the bumps better off...

    AZMikeD's LJ Build Thread

It's been a while since I've updated this thread, because I haven't done anything major to the Jeep. Catching up on a lot of maintenance items but managed to catch a few pics of some of the mods I've added to the Jeep. My next mod will be much more exciting, can't wait for it to finally get...

    FS: Alpine SPS-510 5 1/4" Speakers

I recently purchased four new 5 1/4" speakers for my Jeep and didn't realize a previous owner had already swapped out the rear speakers with these Alpines (the fronts were still the horrible stock 4x6's). I swapped the rears any way so all four match. If anyone is interested in the Alpine's...
