More small tweaks to the pins. Added 8" coated stainless lanyards to the carrier QD pins today. Now I can pull the pins and let them dangle. Drilled two 5/32" holes and tapped for 10-24 stainless button head screws. 30 minutes later, all done:

The hybrids tend to be the equivalent of "hope and change" bumper stickers for left leaning hippis who support destroying the Constitution and good ol American values. I for one would rather ride a bike to save gas. This was my license plate when I lived in California just to piss off the hippis.

Decided to upgrade the tire carrier pins today to some quick release pins. The ORE pins are 9/16". I had tried some 1/2" diameter QD pins to see if it would rattle but it didn't on the drive home from California. It's the binding/flexing of the Johnny joints that makes the tire carrier firm...

After break in, is there any special procedure for changing the gear oil on a ProRock 60 and 80? I am assuming to pop the front and rear covers. Tap the covers with a mallet, let the oil drain. Inspect for abnormal wear, and then refill? I just fill through the one fill port on top? Is there any...
