Well looks like I'll send an email as well. In addition to the deal I earned double points through Southwest Rapid Rewards shopping site so they just put 2500 points in my account.

I called them today about the sales tax and spoke to a very polite lady who after speaking with her supervisor said they cannot combine the deal, rebate and tax promotion. I'm sure there are some people that pinch pennies on everything but I'm pretty happy even paying sales tax.
