VIDEO : MILD 2 WILD - 2019 JEEP EXPERIENCE at Katemcy Rocks Texas - PART 1

Great video, Eddie. Always enjoy watching these. I can’t believe that rock didn’t make contact with the JT behind the rear wheel at 8:55

Need help with Dana 60 front calipers

Trying to get to the pads in Fusion 4x4 front calipers (Dana 60’s). I removed the top pin to rotate them down. The rears were easy and I only needed to remove the top bolt and they pivoted down to access the pads. On the front, it will only pivot about 1/2” and and it hits hard against...

Tire inflator with pressure gauge? (like the one in Eddy's videos) :)

This PowerTank inflator is by far the best I have used. They have digital and analog and this particular one has a 6’ hose. I have a drawer full inflators - ARB, Amazon, etc. This is all I use anymore.

    1-ton hubs

For those of you with tons, specifically ProRock 60 or 80, do the front and rear hubs come powder coated? I got the Fusion axles and the rear is raw steel and the front Yukon locking hubs are raw as well (maybe treated, but still silver). They all started rusting almost immediately after the...

    ARB Twin or Power Tank

Really solid responses so not much to add as far as comparisons. I just got done installing both. I initially purchased the PowerTank because I wanted the fastest air up possible. I’m the kind of person that cuts things down to the last minute and when my wife tells me to be home from wheeling...

Drain Holes on KMC XD Wheels

Quick update. Got the wheels back from powder coat. They turned out good. I also ordered 1 replacement rock ring from a XD229 to see if it would fit the XD228. The drain holes line up almost perfectly but the mounting holes are slightly off. Strange that the XD228 have different bolt patterns...

What's in your Jeep tool kit?

Not using a system, just a Craftsman tool bag for hand tools and a DeWalt bag for an impact and grinder. They are around 15” x 9” at the base and hold everything I need. They fit under the rear seats in a 4-door. Not sure if that answers your question or helps.

    Crusher super bowl commercial

I was hoping too but if you read the article, they claim it was a non-running Gladiator they found online. Unless they are lying, they are dumber that you thought.

    EVO Coilover Setups

For those of you with 40’s and bolt-on coilovers, how are you setting them up as far as height? I currently have a 3.5” spring/shock setup and want to go bolt-on coilovers. I am wondering if there is an ideal balance between low center of gravity and max travel/articulation, specifically with...

Drain Holes on KMC XD Wheels

So, it's not. I tried to explain in the original post and a couple posts ago. I didn't go into much detail because I thought no one would really care but the number of comments is making me think I was wrong. I originally was trying to decide between Trail Ready and KMC's. I really liked the...

Drain Holes on KMC XD Wheels

I was going to say no, not that important but I guess the truth is, yes. When I get my mind set on something, I pursue relentlessly. The amount of material in those slots is less than 1/4” thick. The backside of that lip is beveled and is very substantial. Also, the XD229 has no material where...

Drain Holes on KMC XD Wheels

I couldn't find a thread that was already started titled "Who Wasted the Most Amount of Time on Their Jeep Doing a Pointless Mod" so I figured I'd weigh in. Since I am going to Dana 60's, I needed new wheels. I want beadlocks and first priority was backspacing being between 4.75" and 5.5"...

    1410 Rear Driveshaft

Any reason not to do a 1410 rear drive shaft? Looking at going with Adams. My understanding is that the diameter of the shaft is the same, the only difference is the u-joint size. I can get the D70 pinion yoke for $50 and the 1410 isn’t much more than a 1350. Just making sure I’m not missing...

Let’s see those Tools and Tool Boxes!!

This is my main tool box that I have used for years. I have always liked Craftsman tool boxes for a less expensive but decent quality box. I have been wanting something wider with a work top that I could roll around a little easier. I found this at Home Depot and just picked it up today. I...
