Power leads do go direct to the battery. Only place the antenna coax comes in contact with other wires is when it gets to the tailgate. I think the wires going inside the tailgate are just for the lock and door open/closed switch. Maybe the open/closed switch gets energized when the key turns...

Gmail also decided that all the notifications from the new forum are spam. So I had to clear that up. Others who use Gmail may need to do the same.

On the old forum there was a button on the left side of the threads list that would take you to the last post you viewed in the thread. Is that gone now or am I just missing it?

On the way home from Nevada the other day we ran into some serious freezing fog. Within seconds the windshield was iced over and the headlights were down to about 50%. Turning the defrost on high and hitting the windshield washer fixed the windshield... But not much could be done for the LED...
