Does anyone out there have a true long arm (front and rear) setup for the Gladiator ? I seen somewhere that Evo was working on one but I haven't seen it offered (or anyone running it). Thinking ahead...
I am running an Alpine ILX-407 Restyle - was thinking about the wireless car play - but i'd need it to charge as well so for now i have no problem just plugging it in (I didn't have the Uconnect - just the shitty base radio).
Looking good ! Which lift did you go with ? I was torn between sarge green and granite crystal metallic - if i had it my way i would have probably picked sarge green (had limited choices when i bought my gladiator).
Thanks guys, i am going this route - my quadratec order finally is shipping today, my spidertraxx wheelspacers unfortunately are on backorder as is the rapid air deflator i ordered :(. Now I just need to pick out which 37's i want to go with.
Sounds like Heaven. I'd roll through there for some wheeling and then roll right back out of there. I'll probably take some time off work in the winter months for a wheeling trip out there - no plans on staying though.
Yup i had the opportunity to move out there back in 2013 - I turned it down due to many reasons - was told i'd need to go on a waiting list to even get a place to stay, similar for my kids schooling - (this was mountain view). People in the bay area i felt were smug - very beautiful state but...
Aren't there more restrictive laws/rules around modding vehicles (including Jeeps) in CA though ? Also read somewhere recently that they started closing down alot of trails due to environmental concerns.
EV's just aren't feasible enough if you like to drive long distances or in climate (cold) that severely effects the range. If they can find a way to make graphene/solid state batteries mass produceable/cheap then it maybe worth it. However it will still suck if you like to go for extended...
Was wondering what everyone would consider the best region to live at for people who like wheeling/trail rides (and general 4x4 fun). Throughout the years most people seem to vote CO, then again people in WA would like to have a word if you said that. I am on the east coast and while there...
My WK2 was surprisingly capable - i honestly would recommend one to anyone who wants something that is great onroad, comfortable and can serve trail duty. There are a number of folks that take them out to places you would never expect them to get through.
Gotchya, I don't have any rattle/valvetrain noise - glad you got it fixed. I've heard it before in person and its pretty undeniable - must be the mic not picking it up.
Thats pretty much where I want to be at until I am ready for 1 ton swap and 40's. I am thinking of going aftermarket with fender flares - but i love the way the rubicon flares line up more closely with the hood. Looking good and love the mirror setup.
I've seen a few of these on the trails here in VA - they are surprisingly capable - one of them was lifted on 32's I believe - looked pretty cool. It's still a Jeep and will get you just about anywhere - I contemplated getting one before I got my WK2 (now in a Gladiator) - don't let anyone sell...
