BTW, Thank You for pointing that out. I had not researched far enough to find there was an intercooler Inside the manifold. I've been looking at other info on forums & sites. One guy claims water cooled is more efficient. Don't know how that could work with coolant being 100 degrees or higher...

Oh just ducky 😔. It takes a manufacturer to come up with something as stupid as that. Might as well just plumb straight in. I had just thought that was the new style manifold. But that's all I would've expected from them, a water cooled one. Which doesn't nearly cool it enough at the temps...

Take a look at the pics I posted a little while ago. That's my '22 JLR 2.0 Turbo. No intercooler. And yes, I understand where an intercooler goes 😁. (I may have worded my prior posts to where it wasn't clear). And they often mount in front of the radiator or lower so they don't pick up heat off...

For sure a good idea. And while these JL's have been restyled to aerodynamic bricks 🤔, the air filter system, scoops, & exhaust bumped up the mileage... Especially in town. The after market air filter & housing will still benefit an intercooler turbo too. It allows more air to move in faster...
