It will be comp cut to allow for the extended wheel base and i plan on boat siding it as well. Once i get the new transmission bolted up and make a new crossmember ill be ready to start...

Im almost to the point to start going back together with this thing. I did some swapping around today and ended up with a pretty dang good start to a cage and a fair amount of cash in exchange for a set of waggy 44's, gears and front truss. This thing needs finish welded, but for the most part...

    Hauling my Jeep

I use an 18 foot 3.5 ton big tex to haul mine. I always strap to the axles for reasons already stated. The axles move very little compared to strapping to the bumpers. Another thing to look into is to get a good quality hitch and weight distribution bars. The bars will reduce squat on your tow...

Here is a 1st gear clutch and steel compared to a 3rd gear clutch and steel out of the same transmission. You can still see the numbers on the 3rd gear clutches. Sent from my LGLS991 using WAYALIFE mobile app

It was. I got 3 seasons out of it, and with the abuse it takes i think that's pretty good. Those are for 1st and 2nd. 3rd looked brand new, but i can probably count on my fingers the times its hit 3rd since this trans went in. Sent from my LGLS991 using WAYALIFE mobile app

Split the trans and t-case and found a bit of carnage. The lip that the snap ring seats in busted and the snap ring and what was left of the casting were dangling from the trans output shaft. Sent from my LGLS991 using WAYALIFE mobile app

Just a little update. I got the wheelbase set. It ended up sitting at 100.5". I got all the frame side body mounts cut off, waiting on brown santa to show up with the new. I welded in a new tubular cross member in place of the one forward of where the fuel tank was. I am in the process of...

Just added an 04 WJ to the family!

Im running jk take offs 32" with a 2.5" front and 2" rear spacer kit. I still had to trim a touch off the bumper cover and inner fender to avoid rubbing. I have a 4" lift laying in the floor, just no time to install it. Sent from my LGLS991 using WAYALIFE mobile app

    Tow rig tires?

I run the Falken wildpeak at in a 305-70-16 on mine. Ive been very happy with the durability and road manners. My biggest gripe is the way the tread is designed. Half of the tread is only half as deep as the rest. When you get the tires half worn you loose half your grooves. It wasnt a huge...

Help. Need ideas on transfer case mounting.

Thats sketchy as hell. Your biggest problem is wheelbase, or lack thereof. If you raise the t-case back up your drive shaft will be at stupid angles. Youll be spitting u-joints like they were sunflower seed shells. My advice is to loose some lift and raise the t-case. You have a very long setup...
