I did get pulled over in Texas in January, but not in my Jeep. We had to go to Alabama on short notice so we rented a 5 series BMW (it was cheap). We were coming back through Texas on 287 near Childress when I saw a Trooper going south, didn't think much of it. We were speeding but not that much...

I'm not sure how many violations your vehicle would have to have in New Mexico to get pulled over. People drive around here with crap falling out of, and off of, their junk and no one says a thing.

What a great giveaway! I have been struggling to find a suspension that does what I need and is affordable. I use my Jeep on forest roads a car could drive down and I go to Moab a few times a year. we camp locally and as far away as Northern Michigan. So finding a system that is good off-road...

We carry a Coleman stove and a small gas grill. We started carrying the grill when all the fire bans started about 10 years ago. We use a height adjustable folding plastic table to put everything on. All the kitchen stuff (minus the grill) is permanently stored in an old blue rubbermaid container.

Idiots who don't have their lights on in the morning. Almost every car has automatic lights now so they are actually making an effort to do this. Do they think they are saving the bulbs? We can't see you, you dumb asses!
