Just caught up on this build. I love how it turned out. I love white too (two white jkur's, white trucks, mostly white cars......), but I plan to keep my 85 CJ7 classic jeep red. It will likely never turn out this nice though, or even close. As far as what you spent, wow, but didn't you do...

I say go for a period style build. Not to over the, just classic. Then wheel it on the milder trails. You already have two "billy badass" rigs to wheel serious stuff, plus the other flavors. Or is that a "Eddie badass" rig and a "Cindy badass" rig. Hmmmm.

When I finally get to move home I have a 85 CJ7 i need to finish. It probably will not get the full treatment though. I will keep it basically stock, or maybe a motor swap some day. Dang, those rims really shined up. What worked so well?

It has been years, but I am pretty sure I put Moser axles in my dana 20 in my 85 CJ7. Way better than the two piece axle shafts. Now dont ask me about trying to weld the two piece axles shafts - just don't do it.

Which pieces did you use, specifically which pipe sections or cuts did you use. I like how yours came out. I understand it is the first section of pipe that is unavailable. Here are the original parts from the other post.
