    Light bars - Really needed???

I plan on doing a combination of bars and spots for use in the pastures and for getting to the hunting camp by myself. I had similar setups on pickups in the past and they worked great for those uses. On a trail with others they will be pretty much useless.

VIDEO - Jeep | 2016 Easter Jeep Safari (Our Tessa is a STAR!!)

Just saw this on Facebook. Is she a Border Collie or an Aussie? I am amazed at what Jeeps will do stock. I can't wait for mine to finally get here. Just a few more weeks.

Trailering a JK - Gooseneck or bumper pull...

Gooseneck is the only way to go. Like already mentioned no sway and a far more stable platform to pull. They are also far easier to back up as they don't have the tendency to wander on you. Backing a trailer is definitely an acquired skill, but a gooseneck makes it easier. You also have far...

    Gearing question

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a new rubicon. My wife has me talked into the automatic so she can drive it. Is it worth the upgrade to the 4.10 or just wait and regear later? I don't ever plan on any bigger than 35s since I don't live out west. I appreciate the help.

Harbor Freight 440lb Electric Hoist - Leaving Hardtop up

All you need is a pulley, some line, and 5 carabiners to make one yourself. Unless you know how to tie Prussian Loops and then you can use those instead.

    2005 3.7L oil usage.

My 2wd 2005 uses a lot of oil. Somewhere around 1qt per thousand. Is this normal for older motors? I have 150k miles on it. I'm the 2nd owner and I bought it from 2 old people that took it to the dealer for everything so they have no idea as it was going in on a regular basis and not driven as...

Harbor Freight 440lb Electric Hoist - Leaving Hardtop up

You could set up the hand crank to accept a socket and use a drill to power it. I would still Secure the line as well in case the ratchet lock on the hand crank fails. That isn't common but i have seen it happen.

The PTO makes me think it is a farm Jeep. After the war they marketed some as tractors.

JEEP TRAIL OFFROAD GPS: What GPS is everyone running?

In aviation we have a couple of GPS units that will connect with the iPad. One was the Bad Elf. I don't know if they are still around or not. If so it would probably fix the no cell service issue. Edit: they are still around http://bad-elf.com/collections

Tumes younhave actually utilized your Hi Lift jacks?

I used one on a Toyota Hilux (think 4 door diesel Tacoma) in Africa once. We unintentionally buried the front end in mud while out in the bush on the way to pick up our translator at his church. The front bumper was right next to solid ground and had high lift points. Was able to lift it and get...

    Central Florida wave

Hey guys, My real name is Josh. Always was a MOPAR muscle and diesel guy, but last year I traded my HD for a TJ and cash to clear some debt and fell in love with a Jeep. But hey still MOPAR. Sadly I sold it again this year because I love debt free more. Next year though I'm hoping to get a new...
