I plan on doing a combination of bars and spots for use in the pastures and for getting to the hunting camp by myself. I had similar setups on pickups in the past and they worked great for those uses. On a trail with others they will be pretty much useless.

All you need is a pulley, some line, and 5 carabiners to make one yourself. Unless you know how to tie Prussian Loops and then you can use those instead.

You could set up the hand crank to accept a socket and use a drill to power it. I would still Secure the line as well in case the ratchet lock on the hand crank fails. That isn't common but i have seen it happen.

The PTO makes me think it is a farm Jeep. After the war they marketed some as tractors.
