Tried it again tonite and backup view popped up automatically on screen in reverse. Not sure what happened the other day. Going to be nice as I cant see jack right now with the spare tire.

Your right on the flipped image, I did a quick temp hookup and the image is flipped when facing forward. It doesn't engage in reverse automatically though you need to touch "menu" then select camera. Not a big deal as long as your patient enough for screen to wake up before backing up. You can...

Anyone tried and tested this? Ordered camera yesterday and am curious if the screen on TD is activated only when 12v is applied to camera? Either tied in to reverse light circuit or thru toggle for undercarriage view?

Got my kit today and my question was answered as to how the lower joint is greasable with so little room around the knuckle. Comes with a needle fitting for anyone else wondering. Need to pick up a new tip for the old gun.

Used 1 can PD for 4 aluminum wheels on the kids f150 almost a year ago. Didnt do any special prep, only quick wipe down with brake cleaner. Has held up great even under these types of conditions. Went this route because I didnt want it permanent.
