    Looking for new shocks

Something looks off in the photo, maybe spring sag. Normally with 3+ of lift and 35s the gap between tire and fender is a lot bigger. I run a 3.5 RK with 35s and the gap is a lot bigger.

    Any Mountain Bikers?

Finally replaced the noisy Elixir 5's with overkill Hope V4s.

    Any Mountain Bikers?

That would be my other money pit :wings:. It makes it tough on nice weekends in choosing which to do. My old school bike Current ride minus a few upgrades, way overkill for FL but just right for road trips to the mountains.

    Trail Wildlife!

Cooler temps means these guys are looking for the sunshine, was actually on fireroad heading to trails when work called and I had to head home. Was a small one 5-6 feet tops nose to tail.

JK-Forum Moderator kh202 Love for wayoflife is now back as jkrulz

I hate these types of threads in general and typically avoid them but in going through some old photos this on made me laugh and think of these types of threads. My dog has bigger balls than e-thugs, keyboard commandos, etc. :wings: This pic may be considered porn to those freaky people out...

    Coilover vs. Coil Spring lift

I had to chip away at front with my Fox w/res as well. Not really a big deal just nice to know ahead of time. Its a lot easier to triim that area up when installing the lift and the old components are removed. Really nothing some snips and a dremel can't make short work of. Just cut out all...

    trektop

Have it and love it but, there is an issue with the front surrounds breaking. I've popped the bar retainer off once, gorilla glued it once and snapped it again removing the bar the other day. Time to call Bestop and get a replacement(warranty) surround I guess. It appears to be a common issue...

What did Brown Santa show up with today..

It's not too bad, just be sure to relocate the evap, and cut off the studs before hoisting it up, it lines up pretty good just resting on the mounts. A long extension and wobble sockets make it a lot easier too.

Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

Ventured out to the Tread Lightly trail in Ocala National Forest off of SR 40, well exited there anyway. Before I hit the trails I came across this guy walking down the rode, I couldn't get close enough with the 55mm lens (forgot the 200mm) for a good pic before he ran off :sigh:. Then as as...

What was done to your rig this week?

While cleaning out all the sand from last weekends escapade, I decided to fix my audio mod. If you purchased a JK with a hard top and noticed it was considerably quieter when removed even with a soft top installed this may help. The little connector that you disconnect when removing the hard top...

Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

Back out to Richloam, I wanted to test the GoPro mount I made a month or so ago. Last time I was there I picked up a nice banana spider hitchhiker in the rear cargo area, this time an even bigger one between me and the A pillar . I had my Nikon with me hoping to see some other wildlife but...

What was done to your rig this week?

Installed the Die-tech mirror reloaction brackets with some Bestop replacement mirrors, too lazy to remove from door everytime. Test drive to make sure they are Trail Rated Picked up a hitchhiker who, I thought flew off on the way home. He showed up in the lower area at my buddies place...

    Ace pro bumpers

I have the pro rear w/tire carrier and old style front and no complaints so far. Like most front bumpers you will need to relocate the vacuum pump and either grind off the old studs or remove the old bracket. I think the pro front requires a little more than that actually, but they do have basic...
