Yeah with mine the bottom of the CB sat just below the trim at the top of the mirror so it would not line up to the mount. I think the mirrors (mine) with the lights/electronics are a little bigger than a standard mirror. If I feel the need for a rear-view again I'll find an elcheapo replacement...

Yeah shipping times are something else to be aware of. My front, told 4-6 weeks, took 6; rear 6-8 weeks took 8. Like I mentioned earlier when I emailed for updates near the shipping windows they replied with an update and more accurate ship date. Here is a shot of rear with angle carrier...

Went out exploring new areas and came across an old bridge, I think its a doable crossing with a good spotter and removing a few of the spikes. :thumb:

I have the typical 18' cable run from rearview mirror, along the passenger roll bars, and exit the gate with a bit left over. I am still trying to figure where to mount the antenna since put the angled tire carrier bracket on but I have enough slack to mount it anywhere.

On a semi related note, for those running a the Dynomax Comp exhaust, would it be safe to mount the compressor and possibly tank where the stock muffler was.

At the end of the day you're looking at just under 1k for the kit and two batteries. Is that cost justifiable to a single battery that can handle the load? I like the setup and it's in the running but damn that's a few other mods put on hold if I go that route.

Installed an ACE slant tire carrier bracket. I lost long distance view out the rear (it was limited anyway), but now I can see all the little Hondas riding my ass through slots in the wheel.

The 2013's come with a skid cover, might want to check to see what the dealer charges for one. it wouldn't hurt to have one, while we don't have a lot of rocks to crawl, there are some water holes with all kinds of crap lurking under the surface.
