Warn Powerplant 9500 compressor pressure switch bad???

Yep, just unplug it over night. I drilled a hole in the end plug, ran a piece of wire thru the hole, and put both ends in a ring terminal and used one of the cap screws to hold it in place. Now I won't lose the female end after I take it off to plug in my air hose.

Warn Powerplant 9500 compressor pressure switch bad???

I asked the same question and got the same answer! So what I did to keep dirt out is to put a female end with a plug in it on the male end on the tank. I unplug it once a week to let it breath over night.

Warn Powerplant 9500 compressor pressure switch bad???

I have the same winch and if when your saying it "keeps shutting down" do you mean that when in compressure mode, with an air hose connected and your not filling a tire or using an air tool that it runs for 30 seconds or so then stops? If yes this is normal as the system has a pressure switch...

Battery disconnect cable to run air compressor

How about something like this? If you are familiar with the Battery Tender than you know about the 2 wire connector they use for the battery end of the kit. Would something like that work for you? Sorry I tried to find a good pic but could not.

    Towing a Jeep Wrangler

Doplar, are you going to flat tow the Jeep or trailer it? For flat towing the tow bar you linked will work, you will need a brake controller on the Explorer and an electric brake device on the Jeep, and tow lights. For trailer towing you will need the weight distribution hitch, a brake...

    A brake question

Over the last 2 days this has happened to me a couple of times and is making me concerened, when I press on the brakes the pedal will go down about 2/3 of the way to the floor before I get any braking action. Now if I let the pedal back up and press them again it feels normal. After this happens...

Anyone run with sway bar disconnected all the time?

On my YJ with leaf springs I leave it disconnected all the time unless I plan on running to the coast, about a 250 mile run one way. On a coil spring Jeep short runs like you made would not be bad but for longer road runs I would connect it IMHO.

Don't really have mud out here in the desert but I would think that when you air down and the tire flattens out it will help float a little in the mud giving you a larger footprint so to speak, could be wrong.
