Yes, I kept as much of the under support as possible. I drilled through both the fender and support and used a plastic push connector to secure the fender to the support. It looks good close up and work well.

I left about 1/2" on my trim from the lip. I also trimmed diagonally in front to try and cut down on any flapping, it's worked pretty well.

After recently going to 37's and blacked out Slabs I made a trip down to visit my Brother. His 10 year old daughter immediately asks me if I was busy on Monday morning because she would like me to drop her off at school in my Jeep. She explained that she would gain some "Serious Street Cred"...

Got my new Slabs and 37" Trail Grapplers mounted last night. The balance is better than my worn out Mickey Thompson's but I definitely need to find time to swap out the new Prosteer ball joints sitting in my garage.

Great thread with tons of info! Here is my install location in my 2013 JK Rubi. Anyone running a lower Daystar Panel in a 2012+? I cannot get the clips to stay secure. I have tucked the wires in as much as possible but the panel will not stay on.
