    New JL Sport S

Bestop This is at the top of my list when it comes out this fall. Loved the fast back on my JK (and my original CJ). This is even nicer. The video shows that the Sunrider portion is better and the rear panels go on and off really easy. Bestop makes great stuff. May do the soft half doors and...

What did Brown Santa show up with today..

These LOD in the house... or garage. Really big box, had to climb over it to get in the house. They put it right in front of the door. LOL

    JL Sliders Installed

Posted this on my build page, but I thought I should add it here as well. The LOD sliders came today. Packaged very nicely and in perfect condition. Super easy install, less than an hour. There are still 3 holes I need to drill, but these things are very solid as is. For street use, you don't...

    New JL Sport S

The UNWANTED Mod Less than 1500 miles and I already need a new windshield. Apparently, the extra lean on the windshield frame does not improve the aerodynamics enough to lessen rock chip incidents. My irritated and non-scientific opinion aside, the bigger hassle is none of the glass places...

    GFrench 76 CJ5 Restoration

As I understand it, the Willys overland tub is a fully modified MD Juan tub that will bolt right on with all the little defects corrected. It is not cheap. MD Juan is the only manufacturer I know of manufacturing classic steel jeep tubs. Omix Ada sells an unmodified tub if you have the skills to...

    New JL Sport S

Representing Got these last night, one for each side. Wasn't sure if the "J" in black would show up very well so I went with the white. It's a little loud right now but it should balance out better later. I will probably add the JLWrangler windshield banner in white. I am also considering...

What was done to your rig this week?

New emblems Got new Rubicon style emblems on today and replaced the chrome ones. Also debadged the decals from below them. Here is a before and after. I have Wrangler decals coming in medium grey with red trim and those are in the lettering style of the Rubicon. I will add my JL decals from...

    New JL Sport S

First mod Took a couple of minutes to remove the little euro flaps between the flares and the bumper and the lower bumper skid. I think it looks a lot better and more like normal jeep styling. Best part was the cost... free.

    CJ-5 Project Old School

Thanks, probably going to do an LOD front bumper like the one Eddie has. That will match my first major investment, which will be some rock sliders. Got to show some vendor love.

    New JL Sport S

Well, I went and got a JL yesterday. It is a Sport S. My wife and I took a overnight trip to Tucson from Phoenix and back, about 240 miles. I can say the JL is great and I am glad to be in it. I will likely do the Mopar 2 inch lift and 35 inch tires, not sure what brand yet. Leaning toward...

Cool rig for sure. If it is just a tub and a few smaller parts, it should be pretty fix. The good thing is no scouring everywhere for all the missing parts like you might typically have to do for a restoration. Everything is there.

VIDEO : JL JOURNAL - Dawn of a New Age

Way cool, congrats! It will be fun to see how fast you go with the build. The aftermarket is more ahead of the game than usual on this one but there is so much more to come, I'm sure. For me it's always a battle to keep it stock and enjoy it that way before going big... It never lasts as long...
