    CJ-5 Project Old School

Got the first part of the frame in. The transmission crossmember/skid. It's made by throttle down kustoms which is the same company that makes the frame I need. Still adding to the funds for that. Nice piece with good welds. Not cheap, but sweet.

    Random Willys of the day

So sweet!! Reminded me I had one on my phone that I took a pic of while shopping at the local 4x4 store a couple of months ago. They are very similar. The woodgrain really sells it for me. Such time capsules...

Not a big thing, but another box on the pile. Got an Omix-Ada glove box to replace the ratty cardboard one. And Friday marks a good paycheck for me. I've been putting a little bit away each payday toward the frame and as of tomorrow I will be halfway there. Only another thousand to go.:bored01:

    What is your jeeps name!!!

Kind of on a whim, I had a sticker made for each side last week. The CJ has had the name since I've owned it but no one knew unless I told them.

    CJ-5 Project Old School

Well, it took about 7 weeks but I finally got my warranty wheel replaced. Nice to have all four tires holding air now. While I was waiting I decided to sticker up a little. I added the Jeep fender logo in blue like it would have been from the factory but was missing on both sides. I've seen a...

    CJ-7/YJ Door Price?

They'll fit a CJ7 as well but the desire for full doors is not really big. Half doors are where it's, at and those sell for a premium. The rust repair cost would be factored in to a buyer so that does bring the cost down. If someone really needed them and they were perfect, you might see $800...

VIDEO : EVO UP - The Beginning of a Badass JEEP GLADIATOR Pickup Truck Build

So much awesome in one vehicle. IF it could tow a CJ5 on a trailer then I could see one of these on 37's in the future. I wouldn't flat tow, so that would be a consideration. Still, I don't know how anyone can watch these videos and not want one at least a little bit.

What did Brown Santa show up with today..

The last part on my most recent order finally arrived. A heavy duty steering box brace which moves the box forward 1.25 inches. When I get the new frame, the company said they would mount the front spring brackets forward by that same measurement. The shackles stay mounted in the same place and...

    CJ-5 Project Old School

What?!?! This is a new thing for me. I bought my new wheels 2 weeks ago and after a week and a half the drivers rear tire was flat. I'm thinking well, maybe it didn't seat right. Or, since I did steel valve stems, there could have been a problem with the gaskets sealing. So this morning I took...

Hubs Wasn't going to get these until I started to clean up and paint the axle housings. However, I got a hell of a deal and couldn't pass them up. I've been keeping an eye on prices and ended up having these delivered to my door for a total cost of $140.00. They retail for around $250.00 and...
