    My Mall Crawler Build

Here's a comparison of the equipment side by side. The Alpine speakers have a decent magnet but you can't tell because the factory EQ is killing all low frequencies. The highs are much better from the new speakers due to the separate tweeter.

    My Mall Crawler Build

Got the inside of the sub covered in Dynamat and I'll add some poly fill. The sub I got is too deep so I'll fab up a spacer ring from MDF for clearance.

    My Mall Crawler Build

Sub tear down begins. Here's the stock sub. I'll post a comparison against the new sub tomorrow. Here's the wiring coming out for the dual voice coils: Hard to tell but not very deep. Hope the new sub fits or I'll have to make a spacer. Only a little insulation on the rear. We can do a...

    Subwoofer setup

If you want a sub that's easily removable, I'd recommend looking at the Kicker VSS SubStage SWRA411. It's already powered and installs by hooking into the child safety seat hoops behind the passenger seat. To remove just fold the seats down, disconnect the wire connection and lift it out.

Calling out bruiser conversions round 2 ding, ding, ding

Maybe the other question was about getting married in November. My answer - don't do it unless she's comfortable with your 4 wheel girlfriend taking a lot of your time and money. :cheesy:

    Calling out Bruiser Conversions!

So, I'm curious why, after starting this thread you'd put on social media that you're giving your Cummins back so that Bruiser can put it in someone else's Jeep? And on top of that, when asked point blank why you're switching to an LS, you don't say anything about your treatment at Bruiser. I...

Getting Jacked - A Trail question

I thought I had seen a show where a regular bottle jack had been modified for off-road use. Add a v-notch top cap and a more secure base. Something along the lines of this, but a bottle jack rather than a scissor jack.

    My Mall Crawler Build

I found someone else who was having the same issue as you with the Synergy bracket. In his case, his trackbar was set too long and his axle wasn't centered. Might be worth checking on yours especially with the frame you've got.

Really? From this picture it seems like it's got decent room. Was it on full compression or all the time?

Not the best pictures of the new top, but I installed this as the sun was waning so these were the first I could get the next day. I'll get some better quality pics posted soon.
