Seriously bro, that's exactly what I was thinking to myself "this is what I get for fabbing my own bumper!" I ended up having to put one inch spacers in between the bumper and frame. I used grade 8 bolts so I should be good. I rather of used plate but whatever! Lol

I know sonnax use to make the guides, most trans builders will just use the ends of old converters as a home made type guide.

Like mentioned above, spine and push on the converter until it seats on the pump splines. If you dont feel it go in all the way, its possible you didn't get the pump halfs lined up right. Did you use a guide? Anyways i'm subscribing to your build.
Thanks, it will be here on the 28th. Can't wait. I should be able to sell the smitty winch locally, without problem.

Yeah, even though I shouldn't have. I pulled the trigger on the 10-s deal. It's the winch I originally wanted. Now I will have to sell my smittybilt.

Finally order and received the right sway bar links for the quick disconnect studs Highoctane gave me last time I was in AZ. Thanks again buddy!

I used hockey pucks for the front on mine. Drilled a hole in the middle of them and recessed the top puck to hide the bolt head. Drilled a hole in the spring perch then used a pretty long grade8 bolt and lock nut to fasten it down.
This is the only picture of the front puck I could find...
Shot up and around a XJ during training. Surprisingly there're many points of cover and another reason to by a Jeep! Lol

My Dball2 and T harness came in and 15 minutes later I have remote start using my factory key fob. I forgot to take more pictures for a possible write-up. But it's literally plug and play once programmed.

Sometimes it the cheap easy things done to the Jeep that are as equally rewarding. Put some American pride on the sides.
