    Cut the top. Not bad only using an angle grinder.

    Welded the seam and cut the corner.

    I worked on my bumper just a little bit before work. I will cut the corner to match the angle. I used 1/8 inch flat steel for the angle corners, seeing that they have no structural purpose.

    Well I have started my bumper build. I am mimicking the size of the 1/4 pounder with a few changes. I will eventually build a stinger. I am making the bumper out of 1/4 inch a36.

    Here are a few more pictures of my fab work. It was a really fun project, the first real fabrication project I have done of its kind. It feels good to know I built it and it only cost $30.00 in material. I will post pictures of I all complete later.

    I drilled and cut the two pieces. Got home late so I couldn't work on it that long. I welded the two pieces together then made the cuts.

    Well I have my new flipped drag link. I bought some steel stock and started building my own track bar relocation bracket. I will work on it a lot more tomorrow.

    Newbie from Colorado with a WJ

    I stripped the wheels down and then used self eching primer and then flat black epoxy based paint. They have been holding up for a couple years. This is what I used specifically.
