    Trailer brainstorming

At 1:50 watch the axles rotate. I like the way the walking beam will flip over as needed.

Rear bump stop replacement, OEM alternative?

We'll my rear end was sagging  and I destroyed the bump stops. What are the good alternatives to get? I'm pretty sure I don't need any air bumps. Thanks, Jerry.

    Oil at rear pinion bearings

Because of sagging issues, I've just changed the rear springs from my 3" lift to 4.5" Unlimited. I now need some rear adjustable control arms to rotate the axle up to better align with the transfer case. I was told that I need to be aware of the possibility that the pinion bearing might suffer...

Upper vs. Lower Control arms to adjust rear pinion angle?

I need to adjust my pinion angle in the rear. I still have the stock drive shaft, for a while. I've read that it is better to use the uppers to control the angle and lowers to locate the axle. I'd like to know why it is better done that way. It would seem that either would work, unless I'm...

U-joints, C clip vs. Full circle clip

Simple question, I hope. ;-) Is the only difference in the U-joint the clip? Can they be used interchangeably? I lost the caps on my new PR44 and ruined the outer stub shaft. Wallowed out the holes!!!

    Moab mudflaps?

Michigan doesn't seem concerned about mudflaps on our Jeeps. Western states view things differently. Q: Are mudflaps required in the front? I will have them for the rear. Any special dimensions to be legit? Width? Top of tire? Bottom of tire? How far behind the tires can they be mounted...

Campground for EJS in 2014. Preferences?

Lots of campgrounds to choose from. Does anyone have any experiences with the Moab campgrounds? Good or Bad. I'm thinking of Riverside Oasis due to the Good Sam discount I could receive. I will have a Truck Camper and Trailer with Jeep inside. Thoughts???

    Posts per page count off.

Hello. I like to scroll vertically rather than click to the next page. I've set my post per view to 40 per page...no good. It stops at 25. Same thing if I set it to 30...25 then click to next page. Any idea how to make my preferences stick? Thanks a bunch.

Pro Rock 44, Control arm skids???

I couldn't find any info on this. Are lower control arm skid plates needed for the Pro Rock 44? Thanks.

    Stock JK suspension measurements?

I've lifted my Jeep using a 3" BDS kit with a leveling spacer. It's now time to upgrade my axle to a ProRock 44. That got me wondering what my actual lift result was. Here is a pic from Dynatrac, edited, showing the stock front suspension dimensions. I've been unable to find something similar...

    Tire deflators

I have a set of the Staun deflators. I keep them in the package, in the Jeep. They are kept clean that way. They work well, but I wonder if they require any maintenance? Silicon spray lube? Probably not a petroleum product. I assume rubber seals?!?!
