    JLURubicon Steer assist

WJCO...if I did not answer your question completely I apologize. The 2.0 is great all together. I have no complaints other than the 48v battery needed because of e-Torque, that I expressed concerns about in another thread sometime ago. I drove to Utah from Pa., wheeled it, than drove back...

    JLURubicon Steer assist

MericaMade...I don't know what I am doing yet that is why I started the thread. Throwing things out there and listening to all the feedback. I do quite of bit of research before making big change or upgrade. I don't get caught up in all the hoopla we all see about this product or that. I try...

    JLURubicon Steer assist

Cool, interested to hear what he has to say. From article: "With aftermarket performance parts and harder use, the stock pressures and lack of cooling ability become an issue. We have found that the factory power steering is capable of running at a higher pressure with ease." I would like to...

    JLURubicon Steer assist

Thanks for feedback!! May have 40's sooner than later, but cannot make up my mind. I am sure steering will be the same as far as not being able to turn while flexed w/out ram assist. I have read many negative things on PSC customer service. If they are only option for JL, I may refrain until...

    JLURubicon Steer assist

They are fine on the street and yes a Rubicon. I am not looking for ram assist because of drivability on street. But because I often cannot turn when flexed out on a obstacle.

    JLURubicon Steer assist

WJCO, I presently have 37's. I have never had hydro assist so I do not know if I 'need' or not. I can tell you that when wheeling where I do, it would be nice to be able to turn the wheels with out having to go back n forward. My presumption is that is exactly what hydro assist is for? I have...

    JLURubicon Steer assist

Has anyone here put hydraulic assist on their JL Rubicon? I have 2.0L and I would suspect applications are not the same as the V6, but I do not know for sure.

    Service 4WD light

Eliminating the FAD, installing one piece pass side axle and installing Tazer, has elliminated most warning lights while wheeling. Every once in a while will still get a warning light for something transmission related, but goes away. I don't think for a moment that down the road other...

Has anyone bent their Stock Dana44 or know of someone who did?

Title is the question. This is for the JL model only. Just curious as to how these 44 housings are holding up.

    JL transfer case

Has anyone with M210 axle who has removed the FAD and put in solid axle, run into problems with T/S not shifting because of the synchro? I have solid pass side axle in the box and waiting for FAD removal plate (back ordered). A forum member posted about this a while back, and I read about in on...

    Leaking axle seals again

Ah...I didn't know you were also an attorney Casey:shock: Wasn't busting balls. Just friendly advice. If someone said that about my business on a public forum, even in jest, I would consult my attorney, because I am not one, and see if I could go after them or the site for defamation. Just...

    Leaking axle seals again

I don't go on FB much. But...to make a statement like that on a public forum without any evidence or proof is definitely inflammatory. You might want to retract it. I don't know anything about Nitro Gear, but even if I hated them I wouldn't come on here and say something like that.

Winch Line - which is best/strongest

12k rated LINE or 12K rated winch? Your line should be more like 20k rated. Dyneema 12 strand 3/8'' is minimum you should run IMO for SUV recovery. My Jeep is 5240lbs and my line is rated at 18k pull strength. Have used it many times.
