It's been a long trip so far. We've made it to Dodge City, KS. Hopefully home tomorrow.
I've talked to a friend back home and should be able to get a salvaged transmission in her pretty soon.
Just drove the WJ and the family out to Durango this weekend to do some camping in the mountains. The transmission started overheating and not shifting, but limped it to a shop. They say the transmission has metal chunks in it and it's toast. No one can get a new transmission here for this...
Did a refresh on the old tired playset for the kids this past weekend:
As you can probably see from the angle the swings hang, it was on a bit of an incline. So of course I had to fix that too.

Lightning, thunder, and an inch of water in 30 minutes, the works. The water coming out of the carpets looked like coffee :icon_crazy:
Good info man. I've always just done everything manually in GIMP.
I've done some long exposure stuff too, just not much with the Jeep in it. Here's one I took of the north star from the top of Mount Mitchell in NC with about a 6 minute exposure just to see what would happen:
Looks good! When I considered upgrading mine this is what I was looking at and I almost bought it (it was in the cart...), but eh. I'll just deal with the little steering pull and keep my money lol. I look forward to seeing how it holds up on the JL!

So I have been having some trouble with the door surrounds being loose even though the knobs were tightened all the way. I took a closer look and noticed that all of the four pins were pulling themselves apart:
I replaced them with some M8x1.25x80mm bolts and washers. Huge improvement since...
