    79 CJ7 - Help Identifying & Finding replacement

I'll check those but the tough part was what specifically to search. When I have, it pulls the other bumpers for it which I already have. I have another post if you want to go take a look. I've been updating it with progress. He just went to paint!!!!!!

    79 CJ7 - Help Identifying & Finding replacement

I've found all of the other bumpers for the tire carrier but not the rectangular runber block with the two holes for bolts that go through it for the bumper tab near the handle. It goes in between the two brackets with the oval slots. Could really appreciate the help on this. Jim

Yes. You run a coolant line to it. It has inlet and outlet water ports that are supposed to be designed to help with the fuel vaporizing. That's the theory anyway.

    Texas 79 CJ7 Build

Hey Thank you. It's been a work in progress. I think I'm sticking with old school with a little umph. I have the clifford with the twin 2bbl weber going on it next. I really just upgraded the distributor to help with the more consistent spark and eliminate the need for the coil. Wanted to keep...

Thank you so much. It's taking longer than I wanted but it's moving forward. Now I need to find a painter that knows what he's doing in the Austin, TX area that won't rob me.. we want all the parts painted separately so we don't end up with overstay on the epoxied frame..

Thanks for the reply. You would think that would be the simple answer. As previously mentioned, I did call them but they were just kinda quick to get me off the phone and just repeated it's in with their bushings for the shocks. That said I think I have it figured out now. I have a bushing set...

Help finding steering stabilizer bracket bushing

I was hoping someone could help me find the right bushing for the stabilizer bracket. I bought the heavy duty steering kit and the HD stabilizer bracket but it came without the bushing. I asked Rusty's about it and they said it was on their site but it's not. Could anyone point me in the...

Hey my friend. Have made a lot more progress. Really close to having the rolling chassis complete. The block and head are going to a machine shop next week. Will probably change out the head to a 4.0 but not sure where to find one. Also time to find a really good Painter. Let me know if you know...

I've got the BDS 2.5" lift on mine and I'll get the drive shafts after I get the body weight down on it so I have the right length shafts. I am staying with the 3.54 gears. Going to run the 32x11.5 ko2 on it so I could keep the same bandwidth. Should be good I think

Rebuilt the transmission and the transfer case. Rebuilding the diffs now as we speak. Next will be to get the rear...
