I just put my doors back on. The empty hangar bracket boards aren't terribly intrusive. I like how easy it is now for me to pull and replace the doors. No more trying to carefully set them down on their edge in the garage leaning against the wall. [emoji106] And, they are almost the same height...

the eyelets I found are 1.5 inches of thread for wood. Ripping that out will take a LOT of force. And .75 inch plywood is pretty darn strong when it comes to these kind of loads I'm applying to it. Surprisingly the doors are pretty solid. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

paint came out pretty good.todays project is gonna be where to hang 4 jeep doors on this crowded wall. I plan on making some super-custom plywood shelf brackets for them to sit on. I'm working with a one car garage, with one car in it. Space is at a premium! my workbench has about 6 projects...

This now brings us up to speed on my build. Today I'm gonna work on getting my DIY mirrors all mounted. some of Pep Boys best offerings....these pipes are so thin and weak...even doubled-up, they still vibrate pretty bad. So I made my own out of 1/2 inch EMT conduit. here's the passenger...

just recently did a diff fluid change. Followed Eddies write-up. I took it a step further though and tilted the axles each way after I initially drained the diffs. a recent adventure to Big Bear was super fun. We didn't really mean to do this trail. It sure was fun though. Turns out it was the Holcomb Creek trail. here's some obligatory poser shots. I had to return to my brothers tire shop in Bakersfield to get my fifth tire. The guys at Cooper sent on of the tires out that was the wrong size. It had the right paper label, but it was actually for a 16.5 inch rim. Dammit!! Well, I now have 5 matching...

The tax man was very generous about returning all the extra money Uncle Sam took from me, so I picked up a new set of KMC Machetes with 35 inch Cooper SST pros. With new TPMS sensors too of course!there really isn't an easy way to mount BL's. Even with a fancy tire machine, it just isn't...
