JL Steering - I hate it

Took it in and they just recommended the same thing. a flip kit from RPM steering and it should fix most of it. So here's to hoping! I'll report back when I get my jeep back.

JL Steering - I hate it

Yeah I've thrown some cash on this thing and nothing seems to take it out. New gear box and ball joints and it drove solid for about 2 days theb BOOM, wobble again.

JL Steering - I hate it

Did that this morning and ran it for a few miles. It didn't get better but not worse. I am almost debating putting the PSC ram assist on it.

So a few months back I got the bad case of death wobble and I wanted to replace a few things so below is what got swapped out. - 2.5 ton RPM kit - DynaTrack ball joints (around 30k miles so it...

    3.5in and new kmc wheels

2.5in just wasn’t cutting anymore so scored a 3.5in from metal cloak and happy to report the Willy rides good. Saved up for some wheels and was finally able to score a set of KMC Grenades. My local shop did good with painting the rings. Time to hit the rocks!

    Me again - UD60s

I am getting mixed answers and figured I need to come here for the right answers! Do you need to break in new axles IF the gears we're already built with the axle? I ordered UD60s with the 4.88 years so it's not like I had gears already in them and are needing to swap. OR do I need to take it...

    Those running tons..

Yeah. Thinking long term I might as well save a little and drop the 6.4 in it.

    Those running tons..

$2k seems to be the going price for it. A few of my shops here around Texas have quoted that price. Looks to be the way I am going!

    Those running tons..

That’s the rumor I’m hearing as well. Around 2k..

    Those running tons..

I went with 4.88 gearing as that is what I was running on the stock axles with my 38s. It was snappy and felt like it did stock so that's the gearing ratio I chose when ordering the UD. Driving around with the same 38s and now new UD60s you can feel the weight of those bad boys, but the so...
