    Wheels on a JKU

I have had the Fuel Trophy wheels with 4.5" backspacing for over 3 years now. Great wheel and looks awesome. Not sure exactly what your goal is, but if your going to run a 35" tire you would not need wheel spacers. Not sure I would run the stock tires on them though. If that's the case I would...

Project BOHICA: AllAmericanInfidel's Mojave Sand build

So, forgot to mention, I finally took custody of the Jeep last Thursday. I've got the SuperSport leather seat kit and a few other things to put on, but now I'm in Georgia for 3 weeks. I'll get that stuff done when I get back. I've also got to get some new wheels to mount up the 35s sitting in my...

EVO rock sliders- welding question and what to coat them with?

I took mine to a muffler shop that also happens to build cages for drag cars. 85 bucks out the door to weld them on. I used Rustoleum self etching primer and Rustoleum satin black spray paint to coat them. I used one of those trigger sprayers that just attach to the end of the can. Worked great...

lets see your 35s on 3 - 3.5 inches of lift people!

JKS 2" lift yielding exactly 3" of actual lift, 35" BFG KM2s. Keep in mind you will likely yield more actual lift than advertised, especially on a 2 door. To get 3" of actual lift you need a pretty small lift. I'd also agree for 35s a 2.5" lift is plenty. You will keep you COG lower, which...

    Too Many Questions.....

I think it depends on what ride quality you want. Both Teraflex and AEV will give you a very stiff and jarring ride. Not sure where you have been doing your research, but AEV bushings are far from 'the best'. That would be a Currie Johnny joint. I think you need to figure out what type of ride...

who drives their jeep for a daily driver?

I daily drove an 83' CJ7 for about 4 years on a 65 mile round trip commute 5 days a week. Then daily drive a 2013 2 door JK. Now, this is my daily driver.

    Wider HiLine fenders for JKU?

I am curious, who has Hiline fenders on their JK/JKU that are wider than stock? I am going to keep my next build as low as functionally possible and have been considering the Mopar Hiline fenders, as they advertise a 35" tire with no lift and 37's with a 2" lift. I also see that Poison Spider...

    JK seat cover recommendations

I got the SuperSport stitch pattern. As mentioned before, I wanted something different and more on the luxury side while still being tough enough to handle the elements and my kids lol.

Rubicon Axles under JKU Sport Questions

I have several questions for those who have put Rubicon axles under a Sport, or those who are in the know. If I choose to put Rubicon axles under a JKU Sport, what is needed to complete the swap? I am looking at the possibility of doing this, and the best I can tell I would need the axles...

    New JK?

A 2.5" lift is a lot for 33s. In my opinion 33s would look tiny with that much lift. Here was my old 2 door with 33s and a leveling kit. I am now running 35s on my 4 door with a JKS JSPEC 2" lift. If you plan on doing a 33" tire, you do not need a lift to run them and actually wheel. For...

    Fab Fours Grumper?

While I love supporting American Businesses who make their products here in the U.S., Fab Fours has always been a little off beat for me. While searching for bumper options for my next build, this kept popping up. It is a bumper, grill, and winch mount combo. Not sure what to think of it...

Project BOHICA: AllAmericanInfidel's Mojave Sand build

Thanks everyone. As mentioned, the new rig arrived at the dealership over the weekend. Here are a few pics of it they text over to me. It is a 2016 Unlimited Sport 24S package. I got the premium twill soft top, power everything and connectivity as the only options. Everything else will be...

Project BOHICA: AllAmericanInfidel's Mojave Sand build

Well, it looks like Ill be starting over again with a 2016 Mojave Sand JKU Sport S. I plan to build it a little different from my last build, but more on that later. About the name: I have had a history with Jeeps dating back almost 15 years. Not all of it has been fun, but in hindsight, all of...

Advise on a new summer top.

I went with the Bartact shade top myself. I looked at Spiderwebshade and others and did not like the gap they left between the shade and the roll bar. I am crazy OCD and most of them look like an afterthought to me. The Bartact shade top covers the entire area between the roll bar, uses very...

    "Snoopy" - 1946 CJ2A Project

Very cool! I almost picked up a 46' a few years back to build, as that was the year my Dad was born. Can't wait to see what you do with it!! [emoji106]

35s or 37s need some opinions

JKU with 33s JKU with 35s In my opinion, do the 35s. An Unlimited swallows 33s like they are nothing. I don't think you would be happy with those. If your already planning C gussets and a regear, your Rubicon running gear will be perfectly fine with 35s.
