Update on the TR6. Done some body work, had to replace a fender to get the door and fender to come close when closed all the way. starting the process to primer the car getting it to one color and sanding for body work. still need to do the whole passenger side.

Seems like a great option to me. All I have on my JLUR is a 1/4 pounder w/winch and 35s.

I’d like to see with a factory used steel bumper and a winch that’s it and let it roll

Spent a few days trying to get the body gaps close. seem to be getting there plumbing brakes and new master cylinders for the brakes and clutch Fixed a few pin holes in the gas tank

Havent updated in a while, but I have been busy on that little car... dropped a new alternator in the motor, new seals on the differential and transmission, resurfaced the clutch and pressure plate bolted it all back together BOOM! body dropped on the frame Last inspected in 1983-84

Added a little bit more cross bracing than factory in following the new frame that my father bought for his. Then we gave it a nice coat of brush on rustoleum Now we are down to waiting on parts.

Some more progress on the TR6. Over the last few days there has been some frame welding with reinforcemtns. as you can se we are taking our time, making sure everything is straight and level all the way back front middle back, and welded plates. Still some more welding plating and stuff...

You don’t halve to run premium in the 2.0. I run regular in mine 90% of the time and it’s totally fine. If I’m going to be towing I’ll throw e-free premium in it but it’s not needed even fca agrees.

Love the video. Been looking forward to this over for a while. Love the drone footage. The area around the flying saucer seems looks like there is a ring or crater around it in the ground. Looks like it could have been a satellite installation. Robert Ring KC1IMA Maine
