    Nice looking CJ7, what a great find! I have the Dana 44 in the rear in my 86 with the T5 transmission and Dana 300 transfer case. The 86 could have come with either the AMC 20 or the Dana 44 in the rear.

    I agree with wjtstudios. The water test is the best way to check for leaks. The latest leak I have comes through the windshield from the seal. My hardtop drops down onto the windshield and the seal is leaking onto the dash Sent from the never ending trail

    I have a similar problem with mine. Part of the leak I had came from the cowl seal. I replaced that, which took care of most of the leaking. Now the only leak I have left is coming from around the window seal. I'm hoping to have time to fix it later this week Sent from the never ending trail

    Anybody drive older Jeep as commuter?

    I drive a CJ7 as a daily driver. I travel between 18 and 45 miles one way each day. The only thing I would have to say is that it is a little noisy and can be cold in the winter. There is none of the insulation to block out the road noise that the newer ones have. That being said, I love...
