Fire Extinguisher ... What to buy & What not to buy ...

I have a couple of these, not the cheapest though you can usually find them for around $120 apiece at different times/internet sites. H3R Performance HG250B H3R Performance 2.5 lb HalGuard Black Clean Agent Fire Extinguisher https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009X1W75I/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_TzVRvb4JH5SF3

    Rolll cage thread

I'll second the choice for RockHard if you're going bolt-on. PSC had great stuff too but the cage design is lacking, too many install and fitament issues, squeaks, need for work arounds, etc. to ever justify it over the RH. You won't notice the dash bar, if adjusted lower, it isn't any...

    Tow rig tires?

Hey Dave, I think Mel is running the newer Nitto Exo Grappler AWT's on their tow rig, check those out, recommended them to my father and he loves them up in WYO on his F-250.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) activating after spring installation?

The wires you questioned stretching above are the rear wheel speed sensors. The ESC system gets input from them among other sensors. New front sensors come with the wire attached and the plug at the frame end of the attached wire. The rear sensors are separately plugged into the wire on the...

    PSC Ram assist 2014 JKU

I wanted to dust this one off with an update and another option that may work for some folks. I’ve been running the PSC hydro assist over the last year with mixed results using the stock reservoir and airbox on a 2014. My setup would work great for a few days then I’d get air into the...

Anyone have any idea WTF this is? Haha

Yes, it comes with about two feet of wire that has to be soldered into the existing wire harness. As stated, it has the connector and wire but the rear sensor is sold separate. Here's a pic with the part number.

SPOTTED: Any 4X4 other than a Jeep JK/JL Wrangler

Saw this Bronco a few weeks back. I used to have one of the older body styles like this back in High School and wish I still had it to restore it like this one was.

    CB Radio Mounts & Antennas

Here's my antenna mount. Had to go this route to clear my tire carrier when it's closed and keep the antenna low enough to be able to keep it on in the garage. Didn't like any of the quick disconnects so just keep the Firestik on all the time.

Poison Spyder brawler lite + Warn winch: Any Input?

As everyone else said the pockets are deeper but I haven't noticed any loss of light as a fog light than stock. I previously had the boltons too and that's what's great with them, if you lose a little lift from the weight of the bumper, just turn in a little more height. I used the Poison...

Trail essentials- What tools to Carry Offroad

Trail essentials Get under your rig and see what you need in the way of tools and parts specific to what you have. Example: some of the aftermarket driveshafts use fasteners that require 12 point wrench/socket (or some really good vise grips, ;-)) to remove in the event of failure, 18mm for...

    The building of knuckles

Hey Mike, I don't have any better pics but think it's just using the two lock rings/nuts to adjust the height and position of the air bump to match your factory bumps length. I'm sure there's a fancier way to do it but I'd just get the compressed length measurement and match that to your...
