    Alignment after balljoints

The only reason that a Ball Joint install would affect your alignment is if you installed offset ball Joints. These are typically only sold to correct alignment issues. Since I'm assuming you installed standard ball Joints there is no need to bother. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

    Backfire Sneeze

No carb is tuned perfect from the factory. Altitude and overall engine health play too big a factor in getting a proper mixture. That being said it should be close enough to run. The Timing though is a huge deal, and not something that should be taken lightly. Never time an engine by ear. I...

    Backfire Sneeze

Everything stated so far has been good advise. A lean condition could be causing an intake backfire . When you installed the carb did you bolt on and go, or did you take the time to fine tune it? Did you set the air/fuel mix using a vacuum gauge? And then your statement that you "slightly turned...

    YJ , Carburateur weber 32/36

My understanding is by lowering the float level you won't have as much fuel in the bowl, therefore it will not flood as easily. It will still flood out if the angle of the vehicle stops the float from closing off the fuel supply. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

    YJ , Carburateur weber 32/36

I believe something is being lost in translation, but I will take a shot at this. If you are saying that your carburetor floods and wants to stall off road, possibly when climbing hills than you can adjust your float level lower to shut off fuel to your bowl at a lower level. Be careful not to...

Lets talk about gear oil choices

I was told it's the friction modifiers that all synthetics have that eats the o rings up. Best to use cheap Dino oil for the ARB and change frequently. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

It is an integral bell housing. If I pull the housing I am essentially splitting the trans housing. Notice the fill plug position in relation to bell housing. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

    Clutch setup problems

So after having my Centerforce clutch in and working great for close to 10k miles it started acting up. Hard to shift into any gear at a stop, but would slide right into gear with no resistance with engine stoped. I decided that the clutch had to be dragging. Tried bleeding the clutch, also...

    Sliders

I'll second the Evo sliders. I chose to go low angle because I like the step. These things will take an absolute beating, and as stated above there is a great deal on them right now. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

    JK 35 spline axle question

I have the Non Rubi JK 35 spline rear axle upgrade. Outer wheel seal is leaking (likely from install error, I think I pinched on initial install). my question is what are the bearing and seal part #s so that I can get this thing put back together, and not have to wait for shipping from Dynatrac...

    Mopar/Dynatrac 44

What is included at that price point? Because if it's just the housing w/ factory ball Joints it is damn near the price of a PR44. But the PR44 you can choose conventional housing or Rubicon. That would open up all kinds of locker and shaft optional combinations. Sent from my iPhone using...
