    Hitch mounted cargo carrier

Kuat is a rebranded rak attach. These and the yakima back swing are all about the same price. Wilco's hitchswing is the most expensive, but looks solid. The swinging hitch is 5" higher and canted at 5* to help with departure angles. I'm leaning toward the Wilco, but I always seem to want the...

    Hidden Winch Options

How's this? It's 1/4" steel if I remember right. Then a spray can of bedliner did a good enough job to blend it. Or you can buy AEVs paint at $20 a can.

    Hidden Winch Options

I have the AEV, which also has a recessed winch. I wasn't a fan of the full width, so I chopped it. Pictured below with my warn 10s

TACTICAL WELDER - Could this be the Ultimate Portable Welder?

Fronius has a tig version called the Accupocket which weighs in at 31lbs. I have not used one personally, but have heard good things about it. It's in the $2-3k price point. It can be powered via battery, outlet or hybrid. I don't weld enough to justify one. I also don't know how much...

    GoPro Hero3 Silver

They are all improvements over the last. 3 to 3+ was a better waterproof housing, audio improvement and truer blacks. 3+ to 4 brought image stabilization. Below is a nice comparison chart I found on unsponsored. YouTube has a bunch of comparisons videos. But I’d suggest getting a cheap used...

    Cordless Impact Gun?

I added the dewalt dcf899 to my kit 2 years ago. It’s pretty beast. Setting 2 puts my lugs right about 100ft lbs. Milwaukee just released the 2767 which claims 1400ftlbs breaking torque. IMO, It’s a toss up between dewalt 20v/60v and Milwaukee 18v line. Milwaukee has a damn good 12v line.

    Prorock 9/16 Lug Nuts

The 2.3” I got are plenty long. After a few months on the jeep and three tire rotations I can’t recommend the ones I bought. The finish is cracking and they are deteriorating fast. The eBay seller did give me a full refund. My TR HD17s with the 2.3” lugs.

    Wheeling Australia

I started running the infamous google searches on where to go on wheeling in Australia and well, most look like touristy drive over a speed bump and splash some mud on the fenders. I remember seeing some Aussies here and was wondering if you (or anyone) had suggestions on where to go? We will...

    Safejacks - Worth it?

Your post convinced me to pick one of these up from Amazon for $40 vs the extra zero for the safe jack setup. I wanted to report back after I used it and I am glad you pointed it out. I used it last night to change the front calipers on my Titan with a 6" lift and 35's. It worked great and...

    Safejacks - Worth it?

Those look like they will work for me. It's got 21" of lift which should be sufficient up to 40's. Although, I don't think I'll be able to make it all fit in the tiny cavity storage in the back.

    Safejacks - Worth it?

Ive been wanting them also. The adapters/extensions are nice and will alleviate having to use or find blocks. Their videos show them rocking the vehicle both with their bottle jack and hi-lift setup. The base plate for the hi-lift also looks money. But holy crap it's over $600 for everything.

    Safejacks - Worth it?

I've been eyeing their kit for awhile but haven't bit because of price. I have occasionally seen them have small sales, however, IMO, it was not enough to warrant the premium price. They are running a BF/CM deal at 20% off - using ELF16. I am curious is anyone has them or knows someone with...

    CB Selection

I didn't want a permanent fixture in my cab, so I went with the Midland 75-822 and a fire stick. When I need it, I plug the power in the lighter plug and attach the antenna which cleanly tucks behind the console when not in use. It's not the most powerful CB out there, but its clean and has...

    Rust treatment recommendations

After seeing Eastwood in use at PA Jeeps this year, I personally would go that route. I've used loctite's rust inhibitor -which I think is just naval jelly- but as Kyle mentioned I'm rattle canning every year. I've heard great results with POR15, but if I'm not mistaken, it's a lot of prep...
