    Stop/Start Memory State

Yeah, the more I think about it, the weirder it seems to use the Aux for that. But I still wonder if it would work.

    Stop/Start Memory State

I did use a Tazer with my previous JT and am currently using JScan with my JL. I was just curious if it was possible since I’m not someone who will ever use all four Aux switches, maybe one or two max. Speaking of the Tazer, it drove me batty trying to get the tire size to take on my JT. I’m...

    Stop/Start Memory State

I don't know zip tie about electronics and wiring, so forgive me if this is a completely stupid idea. Could the wires to the Stop/Start switch be rerouted to an open Aux switch since the Aux switches can be set to remember the last state? [edited 6/8 to change thread title]

LOVE IT or HATE IT - The ALL NEW ALL ELECTRIC Jeep Wagoneer

It’s going to take a range of 500 miles even when rode hard and put up wet to get me to buy an electric-only vehicle. Ramcharger-esque setup on a JL might be interesting.

CHINA VIRUS - I'm STILL PISSED OFF

I’d walk across broken glass for six miles if it would make both candidates spontaneously combust.

CHINA VIRUS - I'm STILL PISSED OFF

He thought it was funny to say lock Hillary up, lock the Bidens up. Now he's just getting force-fed his own horseshit. I hope he serves time just for being so naive. These people are serious.

CHINA VIRUS - I'm STILL PISSED OFF

Beyond the lessons learned already mentioned here: never have a single residence that is in a dense population center. Having your main residence or another residence in a rural area may save your freedoms. Here in NM, for a time the governor was mandating masks even while outdoor exercising...

What was done to your rig this week?

Because I hate myself and like self-torture, I installed four M.O.R.E Hide-a-Steps on my JL this weekend. I have a spouse and visiting family that need steps to get in. Steps that hang down permanently were not an option, or why bother with a high clearance vehicle to start with? Sliders with a...

    NO MORE Half Doors??

Jeeps build tool has been messed up for several days – unless they also dropped the automatic transmission from the Rubicon X.

    Inflation? What Inflation - LOL

Glad people can get excited about either one of them, frankly. He’ll be the first convicted felon to hold the office of President.

I thought this was referencing Trump and Biden and wanted to replace your “too bad” with “thankfully”.

New 2024 JLUR X XR & first impressions

Thanks, yeah I never thought I'd see the day when I'd see such a well-built Wrangler – or see so many JLs on 35s on the lot. All Jeep needs to do now is offer an optional Atlas transfer case with a 2-speed low range.

New 2024 JLUR X XR & first impressions

Congrats on yours! The 2.0T with 4:56 is really a nice combo. It might be too easy to spool up the 2.0T and launch yourself into some rocks if they put the 4:88s on 'em without 37s 🙃

New 2024 JLUR X XR & first impressions

Agreed. At first I wasn't sure about the new interior, but once I realized the dash wasn't fabric and sat inside one, I changed my mind. Yeah, I'll report back after putting more miles on it.

New 2024 JLUR X XR & first impressions

If I wasn't smoking crack when I read it, I think onboard air is being offered on the 392 Final Edition. Would love to see that offered as an option on all Rubicons.

New 2024 JLUR X XR & first impressions

Traded the Mojave last Saturday for a '24 JLUR X XR 🥳 Never thought I'd get another chance to get the Anvil color, which is my favorite Wrangler color ever (right alongside Gobi, Gator, and Commando). The Good: Return of Anvil. Dramatically improved steering. Heavier feel. Zero play...

What was done to your rig this week?

I felt the 4:56 was perfect with the 2.0T, but my Willys XR was light – base soft top, plastic bumpers, manual windows, etc. And of course the stock 35 KO2s are also light and a bit undersized. Looks like with the 3.6L auto, the RPM with 4:88s on factory wheels/tires at 75 is around...

What was done to your rig this week?

I'll have to check and report back. The JL gearing chart I've seen shows 2,723 rpm at 70 mph for 35" tires, but the BFGs are small for 35s. I had a 45 minute drive home at 75 mph on the way home from the dealer, and I didn't notice any objectionable engine noise. Downshifting on steep grades...
