NO MORE ADS for Registered MEMBERS

Agree with those above. I would gladly pay for a premium membership. I don’t like the idea of @wayoflife having to keep this going out of pocket. Feels like reading a book while sitting in the bookstore but never buying it.

NO MORE ADS for Registered MEMBERS

Much appreciated! My only real issue with the ads was they occasionally forced a reload of of the page, causing me to have to scroll back to where I was.

New 2024 JLUR X XR & first impressions

Update after the first on-road trip of just over 600 miles round trip from Placitas, New Mexico (5,250') to Ouray, Colorado (7,792') then back home via Telluride area. I didn't feel the need to drive Hwy 550 between Silverton and Ouray more than once, lol. Respect to the crew that snow plows...

Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

The ‘24 took us along on its first on-road trip up to Ouray. The Western Hotel in Ouray Classy dinner check delivery via paperback.

    Inflation? What Inflation - LOL

It's easy to be radical when statistically he has a few months to a few years left to live. Still, I'd be happy enough with just a flat tax.

    NO MORE Half Doors??

Is it possible to differentiate in the factory order system between something not available at the moment and something dropped completely? Maybe for 2025 they will go back to how it was with the JK, which was to offer it as a single choice and only when paired with the soft top. With the JL...

What was done to your rig this week?

Good to hear. Seems pretty solid to me. I just ordered the cigarette lighter USB port thing so I can get the faster charging.

What was done to your rig this week?

I guess I should have saved all these for a single post since the thread title is what did you do to your Jeep this week, but anyway: Installed the Bulletpoint Rubigrid for the 2024 w/phone mounts. Driver's side is the MagSafe charger for my iPhone 15 Pro, passenger side is the universal one...

    Stop/Start Memory State

Follow up. The "Smart StopStart" product arrived today. Took about two minutes to install. Works perfectly. It remembers the last state of the stop/start button and sets it accordingly at the next startup. If I need to take the vehicle in for service, I just remove the physical Smart StopStart...

What was done to your rig this week?

Got the Rokblokz mud flaps installed last night. I modified the rear wheel well plastic liner piece that was supposed to be removed so that it would work with the bracket and flaps. I thought it looked unfinished with the liner piece removed. It involved removing the liner piece and using a...

    Stop/Start Memory State

I had two previous JLs that required an aux battery replacement under warranty at or before the one year mark. They both threw warning lights but thankfully didn’t leave me stranded at a stop light or on the side of the road as they have some folks. And my ‘23 JT had to have a new main battery...

    WARN ZEON XD Coming Soon

Great to see this. I had to choose a ‘24 Rubicon on the lot that didn’t have the factory winch in order to get one with auto + 4:88s. Hope it’s an easier install with the factory bumper than current ones.

    Stop/Start Memory State

I’ve read the only downside is that disables all smart charging designed to maximize battery life. You’ll be operating with the alternator giving the full charge all the time. I don’t think there are any reliable reports out there about how much extra life the smart charging provides, though.

    Stop/Start Memory State

You must be offering to sit in the passenger seat and push the button for me every time  The choke was so you could physically start the engine. It was required not mandated. Not even the same thing. The aggravating part isn't even the button so much as the fact that they don't allow the...

CHINA VIRUS - I'm STILL PISSED OFF

The minute Fauci and the CDC did a 180 on masking, it was obvious they were making this up as they went along.

    Stop/Start Memory State

I need to read up on what the latest is. I’ve read some mixed reviews. I think the product below might be close to the Aux concept but by using a module to push the Stop/Start button at every startup. Just bought one, I’ll see if it works when it shows up...
