    Four or five tire rotation

Getting ready to do the first rotation on my new tire/wheel setup. I did 5 tire rotations on my stock wheels and tires. Wanted to get opinions on whether to keep doing it with the KO2's or to reduce it to the 4 tire rotation so I have a fresh tire always on the back. Only advantage I see with...

BEST "I HATE WAYALIFE" YouTube Video Comments

Came across this one randomly while searching for Ouray Colorado videos. I see the comments on the vid allude to some Wayalife slams, but upon watching the video I could find no references. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EQK_z4Ua7s The butthurt is amazingly far-reaching in the Youtube galaxy...

    Rich's Command Green Budget Build

So here is the final product for now. I wheeled it this weekend, and it performed very well. Nothing broken, nothing rubbing and easy to clean up. I don't have the funds to do anything else to it for a while now, focusing on home improvements and an upcoming vacation out west. The next thing I...

Commando Green: Show off going commando

Been a while since I posted. Added new wheels and tires, leveling kit, and XRC fender flares. Need a new windshield banner since I had to replace my cracked front windshield. Lost all my darn event stickers too. Grrr! >:(

Side marker relocate after flat fender install

I know there was a write up for this before, but that was for chopping the stock fenders. I went with Smitty XRC metal flats, and in order to get the OEM liners to work, I needed to use the hole where the original write-up specified you drill out and put the LED in. This leaves me with ZERO...

    Rich's Command Green Budget Build

So after installing the new fender flares, I did not care for the fact that the lack of a liner left parts of the engine exposed. And since I have an ugly stock suspension, I decided to trim the liners so I could reinstall them. I made two quick cuts with a saw and dremel, and screwed them back...

    Rich's Command Green Budget Build

I was getting irritated by the lack of light the stock halogens throw out, so I decided to stick with the budget theme and upgrade. I ordered a set of Delta Xenon hi/lo headlamps for 150 bucks. I haven't seen a lot of stuff on these headlights, but the few things I did see were positive and said...

FIRST TIME : Lifted Jeep Renegade Trailhawk & Stock JK Rubicon on the Rocks

I have to say, I am really impressed with the capability of that little machine. I was not sold on the looks, and I still am not totally into it, but with your prowess behind the wheel, that thing can do stuff I would have never imagined it could. Great, fun video too.

    Tire Shopping, need some advice...

Thanks for all the input. I ended up going with 16x8 Procomp 7069s with BFG KO2 rubber at 295/75/16. Looks great with the leveling kit IMO.

    Rich's Command Green Budget Build

Got the wheels and tires on, finally!! Three years in the making, but a lot of thought went into the combination. In the end, I went with 16" Procomp 7069's, BF Goodrich KO2's in 295/75/16. A little over 33" tall. I am loving the ride and the combo looks great on the CG.

Sway Bar Quick-discos on a JKU Sport

I am already aware of the merits of disconnecting on the trail, but I was wondering how safe it is on a basically-stock JKU. My concern is if the amount of flex or movement will end up stuffing the tires into areas that they can cause damage, or if the bump stops will take care of that. Keep in...

    Rich's Command Green Budget Build

In anticipation of my rim and tire install this weekend, I purchased the Flashcal to help correct the speedometer difference and also disable TPMS when I am off road and aired down. So far, this thing works great!

Off road nav solution with tablets?

I started researching some possible off-road nav solutions the other day. I started when I saw Magellan "intending" to put out a product that was in tablet form, with preloaded off-road trail maps, interactive social media and 3D mapping capability...but then, my search turned up nothing but...

Hearing/ feeling a "clunk" in the front suspension after some off-roading...

Hearing/ feeling a "clunk" in the front suspension after some off-roading... I have the Teraflex level kit, everything else is stock. After off-roading this past weekend, I notice a "clunk" noise (very intermittent) that sometimes can be faintly felt through the steering wheel when driving at...
