Just got my kit!
I'm fighting the urge to install the kit right now. I'll get to it in the next couple days, I've got other things that must get done first family-wise.
Got some more work done this weekend. Everything is cut to size, drilled to fit, etc.
.
What's left: weld everything, paint it all, attach the mud guards, then mount the brackets onto the Jeep.
Hopefully I'll finish it up by February.
I could just buy a removable mud guard kit but I prefer to fabricate them because I didn't like how small they looked on a few of the rigs that I've seen them on so far. I also want them to work if I'm going to run them, not just satisfy several different states' laws.
Here is what I designed...
After installing my Tuffy under seat security drawer, the stuff input inside of it kept banging around while wheeling last week. So I wrapped everything in a towel (while wheeling), but it worked loose and started bagging again. There is no way I'm going to put something of value in there...
I just reviewed the mobile Wayalife APP a few minutes ago. There were a few 1 star reviews that are frankly BS. People are going to feel the way that they do, but flat out liars tick me off. I don't personally know Eddie or any of the moderators but I greatly appreciate the people on this...
GENRIC,
Here are a few side shots:
This is from this morning, air temp was 8 degrees Fahrenheit. The passenger side front tire is up on a stump.
A couple days ago.
Here's a side picture with my old tires on it that I took this past Friday.
I have a 3.5" RK X-factor lift on it.

This is what I found when I was packing my Jeep for a trip up to VT.
You can see the ground wire just hanging vice being attached to the defroster strip on the window.
So I grabbed my soldering iron, flux, a wire brush and solder and threw them in the Jeep.
This is what I did to fix it...
Here are few pictures of what I was describing earlier.
Here are two pictures of the upper mount I fabricated and installed for my rear track bar to move it out of the way of the rear passenger side coil spring:

Looking even with the track bar...
I ran them yesterday up in Vermont on a non-maintained access road and an old logging road. It had rained the two previous days and the temperature was in the forties so the three feet of snow they had was melting. So I got to run through mud, slushy-ice and snow on top of the trail. I would...
Did a little bit of mud, slush, snow and ice to go along with the rocks while driving some "non-maintained" logging roads up in Vermont. The other part that made it interesting was that it rained the past two days up here and it was in the 40's all day. So I didn't have the ability to stop and...
Got my Nitto 35" Exo Grapplers installed today. Always nice to have my father in law to give me a hand in his shop!
Here's a few pics:
Side by side picture of my old Nitto 33" terra grapplers (passenger side) and the Nitto 35" Exo Grapplers.
The tires came out at about 33.5" vice...
Just installed mine today. So far they ride well. Great traction in the water, slush and snow.
Here are a few pics:

They are a bit a smaller than I thought they would be. Depending on how you look at the tape, they come...
After you buy your synthetic line, remove the old wire and change out your fairlead make sure to check the entire drum and supporting structure for burrs and deep scratches. Smooth any sharp points/ends out so that all of the surfaces on your winch are smooth. If you don't you'll tear up your...
