Now that's a nice hook that I would use. I tried to fit my tree strap ends on the hook that came with my winch and I can't get them. Plus that looks dozer color.

Mine came with my warn. But I still carry my hook also.

I have an ARB tree strap, the loop ends do not fit the hook. I use a d ring and straight to my prolink. That's the only reason I like thimbles or prolinks

Snap on is the best. I don't have snap on, I bought some Amazon specials. Tekton or something. So far so good.
