Push rods and rockers installed 2 different gasket kits and intake manifold gasket is not right on both 🤬🤔 Exhaust manifold installed and torqued to spec

Only 97 ft/lbs with no torque turn 👌

To be honest I did not think I was going to go that far into it kinda snowballed when I started taking it apart 😅 I hadn’t thought about the cracks 🤔 we have a spray at work that works with UV light maybe I’ll use that and do a quick inspection before I put it together.

Lifters weren’t lifting 😬, took em out and cleaned up much smoother now

Finally got the lower gasket kit that had been backordered for what seem like forever 😏

Great video! I’m also planning 4.88’s in the near future for my gladiator disciple shouldn’t be too far of a drive 😏

It is not fun cleaning what seems to be a 44 year old gasket 😅 Also this is why you don’t use stop leak all the cooling passages had this built up in em 🤬🤬

Rod #3 was the worst with .005” of clearance but it’s still within spec 😌 the rest were .003” and .004” since this ain’t no racecar engine looks like I’ll start resealing it now lol

This show was fun good to see some familiar faces and the builds. I won some 3D printed doorless foot rest as a nice little bonus 😌 My fiancé also now thinks we need 40’s on our Gladiator 😬
