show off your front light mounts.

I know Overlander responded with his set up on the fairlead, but here is mine done the same way. Thought I had a better picture than this, but this is all I have for now.

    Rock Bouncers

So maybe this has been covered, or discussed here ad nauseam, but I haven't run across it... What's everyone's opinion on the rock bouncer thing? I get that slapping a lot of horsepower into a steel cage on huge rubber may seem like fun in theory, but most of these guys just seem like complete...

    2013 Billet JKUR SLOOOOW Build

Aruba Trip My wife and I were fortunate enough to be asked by some friends to come to Aruba with them. There was extra room in the condo they had and we used award travel to get there and back so we gladly accepted the invite. The absolute BEST thing we did on the trip was to get to know some...

    2013 Billet JKUR SLOOOOW Build

I've been a member of the forum for over a year now; doing a lot of reading, and sharing where I can. Although I haven't done a ton, I figured it was time to share what I've done thus far and provide a home for future plans. So let's catch up... I had a 1997 TJ years ago and loved it. Thought I...

    Adjustable Control Arm Options

So it seems to me that if you just want to get one set for the front and one for the rear, it's recommended to get front lowers and rear uppers. Can anyone speak to the reasoning behind that, rather than... say... front uppers and rear lowers? I've just been giving some consideration to the...

    Rear License Plate Holder

Not sure when it happened, or how, but my rear license plate bracket is broken. The plastic clips that hold it to the body are broken off. I'm guessing someone bumped it in the parking lot, or one of my kids accidentally hit it since I haven't been on the trail in several weeks. Regardless, if...

    Check Your Nuts!

Just a friendly reminder to give everything a once over after wheeling; oh, and keep your tools on you at all times! Had a jamb nut loosen up on my tie rod last night on the way home. Luckily, I avoided tragedy. I haven't been keeping my tools in the Jeep because the top and doors have been...

    Diagnosis Thoughts

Hey All, Was poking around the Jeep this evening and noticed that it looked like oil or something had splashed on my drivers side upper control arm. Took a closer look and the lower part of the drivers side axle c looks all wet. I have no idea where that would be coming from. Any thoughts on...

    DIY Spod- Waytekwire

Wiring up my switches and thinking that I'll tap the power from the windows switches to get the dim-able circuit... Will I need to pull the ground from that circuit as well for #7? Basically, am I good with just a steady ground on pin #8, or do I need that and the dim-able ground on #7?

Torn Boot on DL at Pitman Arm

Hey All, I've tried doing some searching and found a few threads that helped give some context, but I could use some additional input. I've got a 2013 JKU. I put a 3" Zone lift on back in June. The kit included coils, longer nitro shocks, brake line drop brackets, new rear swaybar links...

Warn powerplant hd on stock JK bumper

I was going to chime in, but I see it's too late now. I was facing the similar dilemma of not being able to spend the money on upgraded bumpers just yet so I ended up picking up a universal plate from Harbor Freight for $40 and cut it and my stock bumper down to fit. I've got it mounted straight...

Upcoming CO Trip - Need Advice

Hey Guys, I'm headed out to Colorado in a few weeks to do some road biking, mountain biking, and hit a few Jeep trails. We'll be camping at Lake Granby for a few days and I'm looking for advice on what trails to hit that might be somewhat near there. I've got a '13 JKU Rubicon with a 3" lift...
